Tiny House Resort: Outdoor Adventure Near Estes Park

Picture yourself leaving work early and your Tiny House rental is only an hour outside of Denver. You are feeling carefree this weekend without the headache of packing your camping gear and yet still getting out of the city. As you drive towards the mountains, your travel companion is looking forward to a stop at our local distillery for a happy hour of craft cocktails.

As you pull up to your rental as the sun is setting, the temperature is slowly dropping and a feeling of relief sets in that you are not about to set up a tent. Instead, you check in to your sharply designed tiny home, find a plush mattress, and all the small amenities of home.

Discussions begin about what your day is going to look like tomorrow and your only dilemma is narrowing down all your options. Choices include: kayaking, tubing, a hike in Rocky Mtn Nat’l Park, fly fishing lesson or taking it easy at the beach just steps away from your house. Never the less, you feel content about making a last minute decision in the morning since you’ve ordered your gourmet sack lunch from the resort hosts; your bases are covered!

The music scene in Lyons is also something to check out. After hopping onto the Wifi, you see the list of live music options and you set out on foot into downtown. In route, you pass a lively bunch gathered around a crackling campfire on property and you say in passing, “we’ll be back for dessert, save us a marshmallow”!
