I Had a good time at the Sonesta, clean rooms, stocked fridge a variety of drinks, alcohol and non alcoholic, everything worked but the iron and house keep resolved that quickly. The grounds and resort were clean. The hotel is very close to the airport.

We stayed at Sonesta for 4 night this was a great experience i have nothing bad to say about the property. Food was great, different varieties of food all and everyday. Acces very easy, so many things to do, close to airport, walkable, great staff, very understanding, nce pool, great bartenders, i will definitely go back there again without thinking twice, i will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a great experience in St Maarten.

Only 2 person didn’t make this a pleasant trip with their unfriendliness and attitude otherwise I really enjoyed myself and I will return. I was greeted well, housekeeping staff and entertainment was great.

Overall the customer service experience was horrible; staffs were rude and impatient. They were a lack of attentivness at the restaurants to order drinks and food. The only bright spot from the customer experience was at the kids club; all of the staffs there was amazing and great with the kids. If the resort can emulate that experience elsewhere on the property, I would have given this hotel a 5 star despite the other short comings I had throughout my stay. On a separate note, the country is beautiful and beaches are amazing!

The food is good everywhere except La Fontana . They should consider replacing that restaurant to include foods like steak etc . Overall I had an amazing experience.

We went from August 31 to September 6 of 2025 and it was a lot better than we anticipated. The beaches are beyond gorgeous. This hotel is fun. The food is absolutely delicious. Good vibes all around.
