Mohican Owl house

We stayed for the weekend and used this place to prepare food for a group of 38 high school seniors. Kitchen was a great size for 4 us moms to move around in and lots of counter space! Living room was great size and open to kitchen. Master bedroom and bathroom were huge! Other 2 bedroom’s were a great size! Everything was very clean.

Great place for a relaxing weekend

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway at An Owl and the Moon! The host was very accommodating to our needs, we have 3 dogs that travel with us sometimes. Would definitely book again!

Quiet and relaxing

It is an easy to fund property. The area is peaceful and quiet. It is very close to licsl entertainment and restaurants. A great place for a family outing.

Loved our stay

It was a wonderful, quaint little place. Beautiful scenery in the fall. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. We really enjoyed being there during the Feast of Tabernacles!

Wonderful weekend getaway close to Mohican State Park

We enjoyed time in the hot tub, hiking in the nearby state park, watching baseball playoffs at night, fireside chats and cooking. The kitchen had everything we needed and the TV was easy to navigate to find the sports events we didnt want to miss. Thank you for sharing your property, Nancy.

Peaceful and so beautiful!

I would totally give this 10 stars if i could!! It rained the whole time we were there and it was still so relaxing! We had lots of fun hanging out on the porch and playing the oudoor ring hook game! The dogs loved seeing critters and hiking around. Everthing was provided and I'd for sure go back again!!! Excellent and thank you so much for sharing your guest home with us!!! .... Sisters Getaway!

As usual, we enjoyed our stay Nancy and her husband Always have everything there that we need. This is a great getaway cabin. This is our fifth year going and GOD willing will be back again next year.

Exactly as pictured but even better. It was 3 of us and our 2 dogs. Spacious home, relaxing environment, close by so many different things to do. We enjoyed ourselves throughly and would love to come back and check out even more adventures but it’s easy to get stuck sitting on the porch!

Nice place, beautiful setting

We went for a quick get away and found this fit the bill perfectly! Very clean, exactly as described. Loved the hot tub! View was beautiful. Hosts were very responsive with questions. Definitely recommend!

Last minute family trip

The place was cozy and everything we needed, from clean, hot tub, AC, and to a cute little trail the had cute markers. The place was very convenient to the Mohican Adventure and only 20sh to the movie theater.

Loved this place!

We were staying here for Incarceration this year and this location did not disappoint! We were within 5 minutes of Mohican Castle and Mohican Adventure Park which was a huge bonus. The house was just as described in the listing, and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. We loved using the hot tub and deck at the end of the night after being on our feet all day- our family is already talking about next year plans! Thanks again to the owners for letting us stay at this location :)

Great location! Close to all of the activities!

The house was exactly as listed. Clean, well furnished, comfortable, well maintained. We pulled up and were able to get in. The hot tub was a nice ending to a day on the river. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Loved the stay! Location to nearby activities was fantastic! We felt welcomed by but yet left alone. The hottub was enjoyable but we struggled a but with communicating with the outside world with the WI-FI being out and limited cell signal. This can be a plus for unplugging but a negative when neeeding to check on kids and families.

Relaxing Anniversary weekend

We booked this lovely little home for our anniversary weekend. We have been so busy that we just wanted to go somewhere and spend time together, however we saw fit. We love the Mohican area and this was the perfect spot to unwind and spend some time by a fire, in a hot tub, down on the river floating the day away, and cozying up on the couch before bed while watching a favorite movie! Tom and Nancy are right nextdoor, so you might see them out and about tending the yard, we got to have a few quick chats with them as we both went about our days. Such a wonderful and kind couple! We will most certainly be returning here next time we come to Mohican area! -Jake and Shelly

Winter get away

Everything was as described. The family enjoyed hiking trails near by. Dinner at Black Fork Bistro was delicious. Enjoyed the jacuzzi in 7 degree weather. Played board games with the family. We had plenty of room and the house was well stocked with towels, dishes and bedding. My only complaint was the showers the water temp would change. Not a big deal. House is close enough to downtown but still out in country setting. Located on a main road so easy Access to locations and the road was clear for winter driving.
