It was a unique experience and worthwhile. We loved taking a step back in time and learning more about the Queen Mary and its role in history. Dinners at the Promenade Cafe were a highlight.

First time guest at The Queen Mary. 3 words to describe our stay A Maze Zing. This place is awesome. Service- I have never been treated so well anywhere at any place I have ever stayed. It was fun and roamingbthe ship and self touring was amazing. My wife and I are both history and haunting buffs. Which we didn't know the Queen Mary was haunted until we were driving down the day of our stay listening to podcasts. When we arrived we were told our room was B level which is the most haunted level on the ship. Happy Hour on the ship was phenomenal hats off to our Server Tommy who was first class all the way. The restuarant had excellent service and delicous food. And i did not get his name but the the man from engineering who offered to take our luggage for us downstairs beyond excellent service. And tgis was basically our experience on the ship. Every person going above and beyond. I haven't experienced service like this in a long time.

Of course it’s an old ship and things are fairly well preserved some things are clean. Some things are not the bed was OK but very narrow. There’s only one option for dinner and you’re far away from everything in town. It would be a hassle to go out. they have organized the potentially Interesting ghost tour for the same time as dinner and there are no options. I do like the way they preserve some of the old contraptions and decorative items which are nonfunctional. The best feature is the observation part that looks toward the harbor. It was very chilly and there is no way to set the air conditioning for reasonable temperature. Everyone is very kind and sweet, but it’s worth the night at best because you can really explore the ship and all its interesting photography and antiquities. It is a night in the museum don’t expect elegance, except the heated kind that is not functional.
