The hotels location was great—within walking distance to nearly everything, and about a 20 minute walk to Albert Dock.
Our room was set apart from the main section of the hotel, so unfortunately, I can’t speak to the experience in the other areas or rooms. The room was very clean and spacious. The room came with biscuits, coffee, and tea. Also came with an ironing board and desk. Housekeeping was so attentive to our needs!
The bar was very nice, with happy hour daily until 8 PM—two drinks for $18.
Breakfast was included with our stay. On the first day, we had multiple options from the menu. I ordered an omelet, and my daughter had scrambled eggs—both great! The iced coffee was especially delicious. On the second day, breakfast was limited to buffet style only, with no menu options or specialty drinks—just what was available on the bar.
Overall, I would definitely consider staying at Sir Thomas again, but next time I’ll likely book directly through the hotel to have more input on the room assignment. Our room was the only one in that area, positioned right next to the elevator.The rest of the guest rooms on our floor, you had to pass through a glass enclosure, beyond which there was a notice about ongoing construction. We honestly never saw anyone else in that section of the hotel, which made it feel quite isolated.
