Perfect Family Stay on the Water! We had a fantastic time at Tagus Marina - Houseboat with our kids! The boat was clean, modern and super comfortable with everything we needed. The kids loved being on the water—it was such a fun and unique experience for them. It felt peaceful and safe. We’d definitely stay again!

Easy to find, friendly introduction by Diogo, who was the person to welcome us. Clean and warm even though the night we stayed was EXTREMELY stormy, windy and cold. It made for quite a fun experience to be honest. Our boat was right in the corner of the marina though, against the walkway so no spectacular view of the sea or anything and the underside of the walkway wasn’t the nicest thing to look at but opening the hatch gave lovely views of the sky. Would definitely book again.

Staying in a Tagus Marina house boat was a great experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The house boat was nice clean with comfortable beds the only critique would be that the living room could have had more comfortable seating options after a long day of exploring Lisbon. The location is great with a variety of restaurants, bars and the Lisbon Aquarium close by. The Lisboa Oriente station is within walking distance with access by train, bus or Metro to anywhere you would want explore. Overall my family and I were very happy with the stay.

Interesting place to stay! Boat was clean and large enough for 2 couples. The surrounding area was built for Expo ‘98. There are some run-down buildings when walking one-way and then the aquarium and a gondola the other way.

Unique stay with comforts of home

We stayed four nights in one of the one bedroom houseboats. Pedro welcomed us and explained everything we needed to know. He was most helpful with a great sense of humour! We enjoyed our stay, there was lots of room and it’s a lovely change from standard hotel rooms. There is a great selection of restaurants in easy walking distance plus shopping and public transit close by.

Nice experience for a first time in a house boat. Well maintained, the heater kept the place warm. It was a sunny afternoon, not sure how it would be on a rainy day. Struggled a bit in opening the main door leading to the boat slip late in the night. Quiet neighborhood and felt safe.

The houseboat was a fantastic success. As a family, we really enjoyed the stay there. It had plenty of space, close to restaurants and within a short walk to both the metro and supermarkets. It is a boat and does have a few quirks. The sunrise over the marina was well worth the visit alone. The reception was excellent.

This was a great place for my family and I. More spacious than I expected. Great restaurants near by and it was walkable to a nice grocery store and the Oceanarium. One downside if you are a light sleeper- the nearby bar/restaurant was loud and could be heard in the main bedroom on a Friday night. Wasn’t bad enough to ruin our night though.

It was an awesome experience! A great area to stay to take a break from, but also have easy access to the best of Lisbon. Electric bike rentals nearby make getting around a breeze. Customer service is excellent and friendly! This is definitely a "do again" stay with high priority on my travel list.

It’s a unique stay. Easy to contact the staff. Two downsides were— the shower would overflow because the plumbing isn’t like that in a house. Our last night we opened a cabinet that happened to be where the electrical panel was and the was a HUGE cockroach that ran into the wiring.

After booking this unit through expedia, the expedia app arbitrarily chose dates 2 weeks into the future of when i needed the accommodations for. Immediately realizing the date issue, i tried contacting both expedia and tagus marine to get a refund. Both were not able to help and did not provide andy solutions, other than giving the reservation to a friend or family member - unfortunately, im canadian and dont have family or friends in lisbon to use the unit. Overall, bothe tagus and expedia were unhelpful and had no flexibility for an obvious fault in the system, resulting in the loss of my money. I would jotnsuggest dealing with such people and their unwillingness to offer any solutions. Absolutely disgraceful - just choose an actual hotel, not a private unit that takes advantage of their clientele.
