The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. We had an early flight so the hotel offered us a take away breakfast. The breakfast was good with a lot of variety. Very convenient location next to a metro station and a supermarket. The only complaint was the bed that was so lumpy.

Very good stay

All the clocks in the reception area and the breakfast area were wrong. That is just laziness! The orange juice was cheap and fake. Portugal has the best oranges in the world, please make natural juice. There was some mould in the bottom corner of the shower and the toilet was dripping all night! Besides that everything was great. The room was spotless, bed was super comfortable and all the staff were nice and helpful. The breakfast was good, maybe could do with a bit more variety, but all the food was fresh and tasty. We would definitely stay there again if we go back to Lisbon. And we would recommend.

My friend and I had a terrible experience at this hotel from the moment we arrived. We arrived late evening our first night and checked in (it was a smooth check-in) but when we got to the room and attempted to connect to the wifi, it kept cutting in and out. When we informed the front desk, they simply responded with telling us to restart our phones and stated “well everyone else’s is working”.. very poor customer service. It is a noisy spot, you can hear the metro/subway underneath the building. We slept with a sound machine and could still hear it. That next morning when I showered, I noticed black mold all over the shower/walls/and ceiling of the bathroom. When we informed front desk they said they would have house cleaning take a look and “try” to move us rooms. We refused to be retuned to that room and informed them no guest should be staying in that room. We went about our day, and upon return they had switched us room, however the room was very subpar again. Dirty bathrooms, grimy and unacceptable presentation. We also tried to get a late checkout on our last day due to a late train to Porto and they said “we cannot accommodate this we are fully booked” despite there being rooms available online for that same night. Not happy with my stay here and I would not recommend to anyone that you stay at this hotel.

Hotel is conveniently across the street from the subway, which we found amazingly easy to use. Excellent breakfast was included. Our room was spotless. Staff member who checked us in was brusque and not friendly, but other than that we had a pleasant stay.

The whole hotel was kept immaculately. A beautiful facility with every amenity we could imagine needing. Congenial staff speaking perfect English, ready to serve in any way. Only wish the breakfast could have been served a bit earlier because of having to arrive at the very crowded airport hours before the flight. Would return to Lisbon only if we could stay again at the Empire Hotel.

A estrutura do hotel é boa, tudo novo e bem limpo. Localização é excelente! Perto do metrô, mercados etc. No geral eu gostei, porém achei a cama de casal mediana em conforto e tamanho. E o café da manhã eu não gostei muito, tem variedades mas a qualidade dos produtos e apresentação não é grandes coisas. Por ser um hotel 3 estrelas eu esperava mais.
