I loved the old world charm of this hotel. While the carpet in the room was outdated and could use an update (I’m not really a fan of carpet in hotel rooms), this was one of my best hotel stays EVER. While the building and room was beautiful, it was really the staff that made it stand out. The staff was so kind and extremely helpful. We were only there 2 nights and they remembered our names and greeted us each and every time we left and returned to the property. As with most people in the area, the staff spoke multiple languages (including English) which made questions and transactions clear and simple. They treated us like family. I will stay there each and every time we return to the Lisbon area.

This hotel has a fabulous location for a Lisbon stay. It is unique hotel with beautiful interiors, has exceptional dining options (breakfast was delicious!) and the staff that is extraordinarily helpful. We ate at the best spots with their recommendations provided by Diago and he went over and above finding out mass times for the Catholic Church on Sunday for us. We highly recommend this hotel ! It’s a great experience.
