The room was clean, and the staff were friendly. The location was perfect, close to La Grand Place, Lille Flanders Station and Lille Europe. Many great restaurants nearby.

We stayed two nights in December in Hotel Chagnot. The location is practical as it is one minute from Lille Flandres station and right in the city centre. There are lots of shops and restaurants in the area. The hotel is a basic 3 star hotel. Our room (111) was a very odd shape and did not have any storage space at all. We ended up keeping all our belongings in piles on the floor. The view was towards the street and the railway station. The windows had double glazing which provided fairly good sound insulation. There was a kettle and tea and coffee sachets were provided and replaced daily. There was no mini fridge. The bathroom had shower only, no bath. It was spacious and had a good amount of storage space for potions and lotions. Overall this hotel would be a good choice for people who travel lightly and for whom the dining and sightseeing option nearby are more important than the creature comforts of the hotel. Also, the nearness of the railway station is a big plus.

Room was adequate size, comfy bed, good temperature, pleasant helpful staff. Bathroom a tight squeeze to get round to the toilet. Would have been nice to have some water. But overall, very good price and location convenient to get around.

Nice room with compact modern bathroom. Great size with good desk and wardrobe unit. It was a little cold but I used the extra blanket , I was here during storm goretti. The best thing by far is the location. Less than 5 minutes walk from Eurostar , facing gare Flanders and all main attractions are walkable . I would definitely stay again if in Lille

Staff was excellent so helpful and polite. Hotel location great for the eurotunnel and Christmas market and surrounding area. We booked 3 twin rooms and got exactly that. Rooms were very clean although on the small size but not an issue as we were out all day. 2 rooms said showers were not to powerful but my room shower was powerful. We did not have breakfast which was 13.50euros but dining area did have a lovely balcony area. Overall I would return to this hotel as good value for money and great location and staff.

Staff great - room spotlessly clean and considering cost good value for money with tea making in the room and a couple of other touches. One of rooms had a impossibly tiny bathroom hence not 5 stars - would have to a contortionist to use it. Breakfast was great and worth the money.

Friednly receptionist and very clean. Bathroom small but bed comfy and being at the back of the hotel was super quiet. Lockers for bag storage (extra cost but at 2 euros for a small one which fitted my small suitcase, worth it). Great location too.

Great location, right across the street from Lille Flandre station. Restaurants are right below and shops are in very close proximity to hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious to be able to lay open suitcase flat! Staff was very professional.

Fantastic value, very well located property - 10 mins walk from Eurostar and 5 mins walk into the old town. Right over the road from the metro if you want to travel further out of the centre. Friendly staff, basic rooms but clean, comfy and excellent value. Our second time here and it won't be the last.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff gave us a warm welcome. The hotel is opposite Lille-Flandres station and 5-10 minute walk from Lille-Europe so very convenient. The room was very clean, bed was comfy and we were lucky to have a view over the Place and the station. Despite the central location it was quiet inside the room. Breakfast is very reasonably priced and really fresh and tasty. No air con but they provided us with a fan. I would definitely stay again if I ever return to Lille.
