We have stayed at this property for at least 8 years, several times a year on our way to see my Dad with our kids. I am sad because we have a lot of fun memories but I will never, ever, return!
We booked a pet friendly room bc we learned from our last poor visit that it was the only way to guarantee a first floor room. I sent two messages through the Travelocity app to confirm and got zero response. I called the property 2x and no answer or machine picked up.
We book the first floor, or tried to, so we can let the kids play out front and don’t have to worry over a balcony.
Upon our arrival, it was explained we requested a 2nd floor room. False. I showed my reservation with notes as well as screenshots of my attempt at communicating through the App.
I was denied the reservation I made. Frankly, the man that checked us in made me uncomfortable. If my husband wasn’t there, I would have left then.
My now older kids and husband told me it was fine etc.
Final straw at the pool. A group of three younger 20’s men came in. Turned the volume up to house party with ethnic music. Like LOUD! Another young woman at the pool left. I felt uncomfortable and uncomfortable for my daughter and do not exaggerate when I say it appeared to me that they were cat calling and taking photographs of my pre-teen.
Never, ever, again.
