coast side: East of the Mayons: Fréjus / Saint Raphael and Saint-Tropez about 45 minutes in summer

To the west: Hyères, peninsula of Giens, Lavandou, Bormes-les-Mimosas about 1 hour

A little favorite to recommend to our customers to enjoy beautiful coves and a preserved coast: the escalet beach near the Croix Valmer belongs to the coastal conservatory. It is bordered by a long, rather steep coastal path (about 15km) to be covered on foot, offering sumptuous and picturesque landscapes, between a turquoise blue or navy blue sea depending on the wind and a mineral, rocky and wooded land of different species.

land side: North of the Mayons: Haut Var with its typical villages: Our favorite: Cotignac (45mn), Tourtour, Villecrose, Barjol, Salernes, Entrecasteaux ...

Even further north: Le Verdon, the large lake of Sainte Croix and its turquoise waters bordered by small typical villages

To the east: La Garde Frenet (20mn), Grimaud (favorite), a small town dotted with alleys and very flower-filled calades even in winter.

the Mayons: to see on the spot: Small village perched on a spur (640 souls), in a green setting, crowned with centuries-old chestnut trees where life is good sheltered from summer turbulence. Beautiful tracks will take you through the Massif des Maures.

5 km from Mayons: the village of Turtles to be visited by young and old: animal park where we treat and release 2,500 turtles including the Hermann's tortoise which lives naturally in our mountains

At the bottom of the Mayons (5 minutes away): the Maures plain, a protected area offering 13,000 hectares (including 5,200 hectares classified as a national reserve) of landscapes that remind you a little of the African savannah, an exceptional site.
