La cabaña se encuentra en un lugar con vista al lago. Se ha renovado por completo y tiene capacidad para 4-5 personas (no es una zona de fiesta). Hay una gran terraza con un solárium con mosquitero que se suma al espacio. La vista es hermosa con el amanecer de la mañana y las vistas sobre el lago y hacia Blue Mountain. Está enclavado en el borde de los árboles: una nueva cocina y un nuevo baño. Estacionamiento para dos autos, así como espacio en el muelle para un bote de hasta 20 pies: se pueden alquilar canoas y kayaks al lado. El piso adicional de 16 x 12 con 10 x 12 apantallado en el solárium agrega 120 pies cuadrados de puerta blindada en el espacio ¡GUAU! Además, el área BQQ justo afuera de la sala de sol mira sobre el césped y el lago. Este es un espacio de dos dormitorios con una buena sala de estar. El segundo dormitorio es eficiente y tiene una litera con una cama doble inferior para adultos y una superior para equipaje o niños. La casa de campo está abierta y tiene una nueva cocina moderna. Hay un nuevo baño con ducha. Los huéspedes realmente disfrutan del entorno y la suite únicos. Esta no es una zona de fiesta. Sí, disfruta de unas cuantas cervezas, etc. pero no tolero a los borrachos ni a las fiestas. La propiedad de al lado es la misma. Diviértase, no se emborrache y se ponga tonta. Great Getaway

This is a great property at the Outlet, on Charleston Lake. We stayed in the smaller cabin and it was perfect for our getaway. Cabin is clean, well stocked with cooking essentials, fresh linens, fire pit and a beautiful view of the lake. Our host was fabulous. Great spot at the end of the laneway for snacks/icecream, breakfast and much more. Our only regret is that it was only a short staycation/recharge. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful property and very friendly helpful hosts… there’s so much wildlife, Barred owls and loons were calling at night, chipmunks everywhere, turtles and herons. The cottage is quite rustic, a typical family cottage with wonky linoleum and unfinished ceiling but we consider that charming - the place smelled nice and was impeccably clean, and the bed was very comfortable - we especially enjoyed sitting out on the screened deck playing board games. Also appreciate having all linens and supplies provided, so it felt a bit like a camping holiday with all the amenities on hand and no prep needed. Nice privacy with a large old children’s camp mess hall separating the cottage from the owner’s home. We really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect getaway spot!

This quaint little yellow cottage is the ideal stay for anyone looking to getaway from the hustle bustle of life and get back to basics. Perfectly located on Charleston Lake, bordering the breath taking Provincial Park and just down the road from the sweetest little rural town of Landsdowne that has all the basic needs. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to explore nature during the day, be it hiking, canoeing, fishing, swimming, paddling or anything else and relax by a cozy campfire under the stars, listening to the loons at night. We had a wonderful time! Greg was a fantastic host and look forward to our next stay.

Cozy cottage for 2 adults

The cottage is small and more suitable for 2 adults, not 4. However cottage has everything you need during your stay. Comfortable bed in master bedroom. 2 level bed in other room needs to be lubricated so it doesn't squeak. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, weather was perfect, lake was full of fish :)

Nice rustic cabin in a beautiful spot

We enjoyed staying at the cabin, very convenient location, beautiful outdoor area and nice patio, our host showed us around and gave tips how to navigate. Appliances are old but working just fine, the beds are super comfortable, great deal for the price.

Cute rustic cottage with everything we needed

This cottage was exactly as listed and came complete with everything we needed for our stay. Greg, our host was very personable and helpful. He kindly provided us with a gift of fresh vegetables upon arrival. He was also very accommodating with providing space and an extension cord for our boat. We had heavy rainfall during our stay and he provided a place for us to dry out our boat cover. We look forward to returning at a future date.

Sunrise cabin

The cabin was a little more rustc than i expected. However the bathroom was in good working order & had plenty of hot water. Could use more window coverings. The toaster oven need to be cleaned. Need to be aware that The walk to the boat dock is a steep incline. Greg was very nice & hospitable. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay at the yellow cottage! Fireflies at twilight and the wonderful bird songs throughout the day. So peacefu. The Lake was calm and great for fishing! Greg was extremely helpful with info about loal hotspots (Twists for ice cream and breakfast) as well as historical information about the property. Greg is an amazing host!

Early bird saw the sunrise a few times.

It is a cottage, well organized by Greg. Everything needed for kitchen was there and more. Made possible for my wife and l to enjoy are staycation and relax. My step daughter and a good friend of hers joined us and also enjoyed their stay. Greg thank you for being such a great host. Will be back.

Little Cottage on the Lake

I grew up going to this lake and really enjoyed my stay in this little rustic cabin. We had a lake view and access to the dock; enjoyed drinking coffee while watching the sun rise and hearing the loons call. We enjoyed our host Greg and invited him for a drink one night. This place is near to many gorgeous hikes and you can rent a canoe at the end of the lane and hop into the lake. There's a good liquor store and grocery store within 10 minutes and a cool brewery within 20. I'd stay there again!

Quiet and homey

Lovely rural getaway

The cottage is a delight: impeccably furnished and with a complete set of cookery, towels, pillows. Greg was there to greet us, but not intrusive. The included admission to Charleston Provincial Park was a gateway to hiking/ swimming/ nature and is a real bonus. The lake path at the cottage would be challenging to some, and the swimming is pretty reedy. But that's a minor cavil.

Lovely Autumn Retreat

It was a lovely place for a weekend in the countryside. The accomodations were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with basics, and lots of wildlife to watch by the waterfront. Overall a great rental.

Weekend for 3 old friends

Myself and my 2 old friends rented the cabin so we could attend a local weekend festivity. We have been getting together annually for years. Greg's place was perfect. The screened-in porch is great for hanging out any time of day or night. the cozy cabin has 2 bedrooms with one bunk and we were able to fit, no problem. Greg accomodated us and even went the extra mile. thanks Greg.

Pros: Near water. Close to provincial park with hiking and beach, swimming. Essencials like sugar, spices, oil, coffee, tea well stocked. Good Wi-Fi cables TV. Large outside area with chairs and fire place (wood cost extra). Owner was helpful and courteous. Cons: Not recommended for more that 2 audults. 3rd could be a child. Second bedroom has no space to change, no door (only a curtain).

Relaxing cottage vacation

We really enjoyed staying at this cute little cottage. It was thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials. The towels had a lovely lavender smell. We loved hearing and seeing many animals that lived in the area.
