Hermosa cabaña construida en 1910, con vista al río Mississippi y a menos de una milla del centro histórico de LeClaire IA. (Hogar de los recolectores estadounidenses).

Gran cubierta con pozo de fuego, parrilla de gas y muchos asientos. Porche con mosquitero con bar con vistas al río y hermosas puestas de sol. 2 dormitorios con baños privados completos. Un baño tiene una bañera de hidromasaje, el principal tiene una gran ducha de pizarra con chorros.

Chimenea de gas para tardes acogedoras en la sala de estar. Toda una pared de puertas francesas con vistas al río. Ver pasar barcazas y barcos.

La escalera de caracol de hierro te lleva al estudio con una gran pantalla de televisión y dos habitaciones. El estudio también funciona como un espacio para dormir con un sofá plegable.

El porche protegido es el lugar ideal para relajarse con una taza de café o una copa de vino. Directamente detrás de la propiedad hay un parque con juegos para niños y una glorieta para hacer un picnic.

La cocina totalmente equipada para comer tiene todo lo que necesita y muy probablemente más. Todo es de alta gama y se cuida con amor.

This is an amazing place to stay with great views and a beautiful neighborhood to walk around. I would say the only thing to make sure you do is read the entire listing and make sure you read about the pet rules. Although, this place states to be pet friendly, it is not a pet friendly place for people with animals that are part of the family. The pets are not allowed on any furniture or in the bedrooms, so if your fur baby always sleeps with you, then you will definitely have issues! Other than that, the place is top notch and the host is great!

If you are considering this property, BOOK IT! You will not be disappointed. The house is beautifully decorated. The beds are super comfortable. Everything is clean and fresh. The weather was great and we spent a lot of time outside at one of several gathering spots to watch the river and wildlife. Above all, the host was wonderful. BOOK IT NOW.

This cabin is CHARMING!

Beautiful location, impeccable interior design, three French doors overlooking the Mississippi from the living area. There're at least 5-6 different outdoor living stress, decks, wide porch, fire pit. Communication with host was great!

Quaint and comfy!

Absolutely loved this historic cottage. Oozing with charm! Kathryn has created such an inviting get-away. We were in town for a family Christmas and needed a few extra beds and a quiet space for a break from the exuberance of 10 grandkids. Perfect peacefulness to be found at this cottage. Just a heads-up to any wanting to stay here; there are several small steps throughout the cottage in addition to the spiral staircase, all very well marked and lit, but still a word of caution for some. We surely hope to be back, and the teenage granddaughters hope to join us next time!

Relaxing Girls Weekend

My friends and I stayed here to enjoy some time away and celebrate a bachelorette party. We loved our stay at this adorable house. The tiki bar was a nice surprise and the highlight of our stay! We were able to walk to downtown for drinks in the morning and evening. Just know the hot tub mentioned is in one of the bathrooms not outside, but suggest they get one as it has the perfect setting for one and should get a hammock enjoy perfect fall days. We had a great time!

We stayed here for three weeks as a working vacation. The cottage is very comfortable and has a welcoming feel. Kathryn, the host was very responsive, friendly and helpful. We adored the property and plan to stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Everything was pretty much as shown in the photos online. The river views were great. There was a lot of train traffic along the river but it was really not an issue for us. There were several nice decks and outdoor seating options, however, the decks and patio furniture had not been cleaned in quite awhile. We did enjoy sitting in the little screened porch on the second floor and that was very clean. Overall, a nice stay.

Adorable cottage!

The cottage was the perfect place for me to get away from distractions and get some writing done! From the variety of outdoor seating to the cozy indoor space, it was a great setup. And the river view was so pretty! I even got to see a beautiful rainbow over the Mississippi after a storm. The only improvement that could be made is the master bedroom bed. It was only a full size which was very tight for the night my husband was able to be there. Granted, we are used to a king, but a full was a whole lot smaller than we like. We would not have been able to do another night in that bed. By myself it was just fine. All in all, it was a wonderful place to stay! I loved it!

Mother/Daughter trip

My 19 year old daughter and I were coming to the area for a Blake Shelton concert and wanted to stay in LeClaire. The house was perfect, super relaxing and exactly what was needed. The area was great and locals extremely friendly. We quickly fell in love with LeClaire, can’t wait to come back & would love to again stay here. 10/10 recommend.

Great Place in a cozy the cozy town of LeClaire

Absolutely loved the place. The pictures are spot on. It's super cozy and charming yet much bigger than you would think. All the rooms are decent sized and well decorated. Also, a great location only a short walk from all the restaurants and shopping. We will definitely add to our list of must go again.

Amazing Best Friends Getaway

This was the cutest, coziest cottage! It was perfect for the 4 of us. We used the grill and deck one night and the firepit another night. Very relaxing and convenient walking distance to all the cool places on Cody Road. We would definitely stay there again.

River view

Quaint, cute and very clean and well appointed. Excellent view of the Mississippi River from various vantage points both inside and outside. Two en-suite bath rooms and a powder room. One glitch was that the entrance code that was provided was not accurate so we needed to contact the VRBO help line to obtain the correct entrance code. I do not know if that was an owner or VRBO issue, but hopefully that can be remedied in the future.
