Any hotel you walk in the person at the reception is the one who can make or break the joy of the stay ..and Daria was fabulous. Very sweet person . So were the rest of the staff Breakfast was good and hospitality great . I was regretting not having planned to stay here more than 2 nights that we did .

Very nice hotel

We really enjoyed our stay! We booked a family room and it was a perfect set up with two twins beds in two separate rooms. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. The best part of our stay was dinner at the hotel; it was truly a first class experience...the food presentation is impressive, and the meal itself was incredible. I enjoyed the curry vegetables with jasmine rice and it was delicious. Overall, we had a wonderful time!

A wonderful stay!

A wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely warm and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean and had an amazing view. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We had dinner at the restaurant the first night and it was top-notch. I highly recommend this hotel.

The property is great. The staff is excellent. The food is outstanding. If you want a true view of the valley be careful and request a room on on the 2nd or 3rd floor and on the right side of the hotel that faces the valley (looking at the valley).

We loved our stay in the small chalet apartment at Hotel Baren! We had an amazing view of the mountains and could hear the bells on the sheep just down the road… and see the bunnies playing just outside our window by Hotel Edelweiss. The free breakfast was AMAZING and we had dinner there, too - also delicious. The staff was very attentive and helpful. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Excellent value for money. The rooms were recently updated and modern. We made a mistake in booking a double room instead of a triple, and the owner went our of her way to get a spare bed for our daughter. They have an excellent restaurant too. It was summer but the room had an electric fan which helped a lot. A/C was not needed at all, at night the temperature was cold. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will stay again in the future.
