Hosts were super responsive, accommodating, and genuinely cared about us having a good stay. Unit was, clean, had a great view of the lake (see photo) and had everything you could need -- both for adults and (as was our case) for families with children. Would absolutely come back!

Everything about our stay was perfect! The condo itself is wonderful and it's clear the owners put a lot of careful consideration into the decoration, furnishing, and layout of the unit. My wife and I rent a lot of short term rentals and this is one of the few that we felt like was fully provisioned with everything we needed to enjoy our trip - silverware, cookware, bedding, etc. The unit is thoughtfully furnished and feels bigger than it is. And there are lots of great local (NC and Lake Lure) touches that add an element you don't usually get at short-term rentals.Location was excellent - the condo is in a great spot in Rumbling Bald, right on Bald Mountain lake next to the kayak dock for easy access to both the lake and dock. The weather was great during our stay and we appreciated that the condo is also close enough to be a quick walk to all the Rumbling Bald amenities.Lisa is also a great host and provided clear directions and answered any questions we had. One last thing that was really nice (and rare in rentals) is that everything was documented super well - this is how to use the fireplace, this is where the extra bedding is, etc. Really removed any guesswork or hide-and-seek when we were looking for things.10 of 10, we would absolutely stay here again!

This was our first VRBO experience and my husband booked it for our annual family vacation. I am used to staying in Rumbling Bald for the last 15 years but this was a major upgrade! From the moment we walked in the front door I was in awe. Not just the decor (which is spectacular) but the attention to detail blew me away! The kitchen was stocked and they thought of everything-even making sure there was extra ice bagged in the freezer, just in case. I am a bit OCD and the fact that there were printed signs/explanations regarding appliances, showers shows the owners truly care about this property. No expense spared with linens on the beds, towels, laundry supplies and more. It was so amazing that I really didn't want to leave the condo! The location was perfect and convenient to everything. I can only hope to stay here again. As a parting gift, the owners provide you with seeds to plant (I think it was indigenous to the area) with a handwritten note from them. I admit I took a few extra to give to my friends when I got home. Thank you for making this trip one to remember.

Lovely condo

This property is lovely, comfortable, well stocked and clean. It is located close to the amenities and on a lake. It was so peaceful sitting on the porch looking down the lake in the morning. I will definitely rent here again!

Perfection!

We enjoyed our stay at Revive Lakeside! The owners have done an amazing job with this rental. It’s incredibly clean, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, beautiful design, and amazing views of the lake and golf course at Rumbling Bald. It’s was perfect for our family of four (kids are 7 and 9). We enjoyed the amenities including the indoor and outdoor pools, putt putt and more. We definitely plan to return to Lake Lure and will definitely stay at this condo again!
