Chateau Laurel is the ultimate luxury log cabin with almost 5,000 square feet of space, that offers cabin seclusion with modern amenities, and with beautiful mountain views, sitting on 3 private acres. Located in the beautiful and historic Lake Lure area, you're just 15-20 minutes from the beach and waterpark, as well as shops and restaurants.
Expanding over 3 levels, there will be enough space for everyone to breathe and relax! You will immediately notice the detail in the timber frame structure, soaring vaulted ceilings, as well as the custom stone gas fireplace and the wall of windows to take in the view. The spacious great room has plenty of comfortable seating for your group and flows right into the fully equipped kitchen with breakfast nook. The dining room is intimate and a perfect spot to gather for meals, share stories or step outside, where you can soak in the views from the wrap-a-round deck, making memories to last a lifetime.
5 guest rooms have been decorated for our guests in mind with comfortable beds and attention to detail. There is also a separate office for those times you need to get a little work done. Don't forget to take a stroll around the property, the wonderful landscaping with small pond, nuts and fruit trees is simply exquisite!

Check-In / Check-Out
Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. We're happy to review early and late check requests and will do our best to accommodate. While early check-in or late check-out can't be guaranteed, we always make every effort to honor these requests when availability allows. Paid options may be available.
Pets
Many of our guests have allergies, so we have maintained a pet-free environment so they can enjoy their vacation without the potential of an allergic reaction. If you have a pet, we are happy to recommend some alternatives nearby in our 'Pet Friendly Home' collection.
Quiet Policy
This home is located in a peaceful, private mountain community. To preserve the relaxing setting for everyone, please keep noise to a respectful level at all times. Parties and disruptive behavior aren't permitted, and we kindly ask that you be mindful of neighbors and quiet hours starting at 10pm.
Extended Stays
Reservations of 30+ days are subject to additional review. Stays exceeding 90 days require a separate agreement. A security deposit, mid stay cleaning fees and trash pick up fees may apply depending on the length of stay.
Payments
If booked more than 14 days before arrival, 50% is due at booking and the remaining balance is due 14 days before check-in. If booked 14 days or fewer before arrival, full payment is due at booking.
Military Discount
We proudly offer a 5% discount to active duty military members and veterans. Proper documentation is required. Reach out to our Guest Experience Team for details.
Last-Minute Bookings
For reservations made **within 7 days of arrival**, additional verification is required to protect our homeowners and guests.
This includes:
* A clear photo of a government-issued ID
* A full facial selfie of the primary guest holding that ID (must match the reservation name)
* A photo showing the last 4 digits of the payment method in the primary guest's name
Failure to complete verification may result in cancellation.
