¡ÁTICO en el último piso altamente deseable y completamente remodelado en la playa de Ka'anapali con vistas panorámicas al océano! Esta impresionante suite de un dormitorio / un baño tiene características excepcionales que incluyen nuevos electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, hermosos gabinetes de madera, encimeras de granito y muebles nuevos en todas partes. El baño cuenta con un nuevo tocador de madera, lavabo y cabina de ducha de vidrio transparente.

Wonderful

We had a great stay at the condo. Everything was clean, the views were amazing, and the beach was right outside. Great location with food trucks and restaurants within walking distance. We’ll definitely be back!

Very Comfortable Apartment with spectacular view.

Very clean and updated. Love the view from the lanai. Very comfortable mattress and AC is excellent. We are not big on using small swimming pools, but the pool, although small, was very clean and refreshing. Would stay here again.

Beautiful place....

Location, lanai, and an overall AWESOME place! We have stayed at the Maui Kai before and keep coming back. Beach access was a bit tricky this time but if that is the only downside... Breakfast and sunset on the lanai ... Magnifique! Having beach towels, beach chairs, and umbrellas was a plus! A wonderful place to stay and if you are seriously considering it, stop and book it NOW!!

Beautiful views

Overall, the condo was excellent and the views of the ocean and adjacent islands were great. Everything was in working order as described in the posting. The building is a little dated but the condo itself has been updated. Only think we wished we had was a washer and dryer in the condo but they do offer them on almost every floor for a small fee.

Quiet and Convenient

This is a perfect place for one couple. The owners here are mostly seniors, and we did not see any children on the property the entire week we were here. (Not recommended for families.) It is a very well equipped unit, and has a gorgeous view. Listening to the waves at night has been so peaceful. We loved our stay! We will return again!

Loved our stay at Mau Kai 1005

Great location, nicely furnished and well stocked condo. Super comfortable bed. Enjoyed watching turtles from the balcony every day. Epic responded quickly to fix a couple minor maintenance issues. I'd rate the stay perfect if it were not for the smell of pot smoke inside our condo coming from another unit every afternoon. Reported it to onsite manager who couldn't locate the source.

Amazing

This unit in the Maui Kai was amazing. The location is fantastic, within walking or very short driving distance to a supermarket, food truck area, restaurants, and of course the boardwalk and beach. The unit itself is clean and comfortable. The spacious living area and well-appointed kitchen stood out, as well as the lanai with its beautiful ocean view. The Maui Kai complex itself has plenty of amenities with a pool, cabana, and grill area, as well as laundry machines on most floors. The unit includes a small pack of detergent for both the laundry and dishwashing machines which was very convenient. Check-in and parking were easy. No complaints about anything whatsoever--this is exactly what I was hoping my stay in Maui would be like! This is one of the easiest five star ratings I've ever given, and I would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to spend time in Maui.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at the Maui Kai ten times over the past 25 years and 1005 was our favourite unit. The view looking straight down into the ocean and out to the neighbouring islands that you get with all units is unforgettable. While 1005 lacks views down the coast that you get with the corner apartments, it is wider and roomier. Another big plus is that balcony has shades that can be lowered to moderate the afternoon sun - you can lower the shade on one side and have out the other side. Other nice touches included beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, ice chest/blue ice and USB chargers. The furniture and appliances are top notch, and the unit was spotless.

This condo is depicted accurately in the photos. It was clean. The mattress is comfortable. The pool is very small and a bit dated. A few things that would make the stay BETTER... 1. foldable beach chairs are so needed, anyone over the age of 18 cannot lay on the beach with just a towel and be comfortable. 2. chip clips needed in the kitchen 3. the beach towels are just large bath towels. It would be nice to have regular sized beach towels. 4. Koozies for drinks would be appreciated 5. extra bath towels and beach towels would be fantastic as most people do not have time to do coin laundry while on vacation.

Most incredible view

This unit was great for our family, and far and away its best feature is its incredible, expansive view of the ocean. It is as good in real-life as in the photo--you don't see any other buildings or people, just a huge expansive view of the ocean and the offshore islands. It is gorgeous. When we looked down over the railing, we saw sea turtles swimming in the shallow water several times. And further out, we saw occasional whales. The inside of the unit was also great. Kitchen was very well equipped, bedding was comfortable, and we loved that there is a table with four chairs on the lanai, as we ate out there as a family many times. Location of this building is at the northern end of Kaanapali, so out of the very busy section. But very easy to get to/from. We liked that it was a bit away from the hubbub, and would take this view *anytime*. Host was also responsive. Thank you for the great unit and stay!

Comfortable and quiet with a great view

The condo was nicely furnished and the kitchen very well equipped. We had a comfortable and pleasant stay. We ate every at home meal on the lanai, enjoying the fabulous view. Although it is oceanfront, beach access is only at one end of the property, clambering over slippery rocks. The waves break on the sea wall, but there are nice beaches nearby in both directions. Checking in was confusing. The key box is at the condo door, not by the office. We did not see the sticker saying the a/c turned off unless the lanai door was fully closed, and the first two nights left the doors cracked while we were setting up dinner outside and thought the a/c was broken so we left the doors open all night. Happily it wasn’t too hot. But that should have been in the unit info packet, and a discrete sign by the thermostat would have made a difference. We enjoyed our time here and would happily stay here again.

Unfortunately we stayed during the HUGE influx in travers over Spring Break so rental cars were non-existant, Cabs, Uber and Lyft were extremely limited, but we were able to use the city bus and the bus stop was very near by. None of the restaurants throughout the island had available reservations during our stay so we found dropping at a few of the nearby and walkable restaurants for a late lunch often worked with minimum wait. All excursions were booked solid and unavailble for new reservations as well. Caution to those traveling now to book excursions and restaurants before coming to Maui.

Honeymoon Stay at the Maui Kai

We recently returned from our honeymoon stay at the Maui Kai and loved every minute of it! The most impressive thing about this unit is the unobstructed panoramic ocean views. Maui Kai seemed to the closest to the ocean out of all the surrounding buildings which provided unbeatable views of the sunrise, sunset, Lana'i & Molokai as well as all the incredible sea life in the reef below (sea turtles, Monk Seals, Dolphins, Whales; you name it!) The property managers provided binoculars in the unit which came in handy with spotting the sea life. The unit was very tidy, well organized and seemed recently updated. Bedroom & Bathroom were stocked with enough linens for the 2 of us for the week. However, if you needed to wash anything, there was a laundry room on our floor very close to the unit. Kitchen had all the necessary cookware & utensils and coolers and beach chairs were available for use. Parking was available on the premises and was included in our stay. We would 100% recommend this property to anyone looking to spend time in the Ka'anapali/Lahaina or just Maui in general. The location was close by to everything (beaches, hikes, restaurants, groceries, food trucks etc.) and was much more private & quieter compared to some of massive vacation clubs nearby owned by the big hotel chains. Can't wait to get back one day!
