Auvergne house renovated in 2018

Our house is located in the heart of the hamlet Le Cassan which is attached to the town of Lacapelle Viescamp. It is 5 minutes drive from Saint Paul des Landes and 15 minutes from Aurillac. Our house was built in the late eighteenth century. It is typically Auvergnate with its cantou, souillarde and bread oven. We have just finished restoring it. On the ground floor you will find a large living room with a kitchen open to the living room. The kitchen is functional. It is equipped with a ceramic hob, a classic electric oven, a microwave, a large fridge, a dishwasher. You will find all the classic utensils for cooking. The dining room consists of a large table and benches, the living room is facing the inglenook and it is composed of two sofas facing each other and a coffee table. In the cantou, there is a glazed wood stove to enjoy the pleasures of fire. Behind the mess, there is a small bathroom consisting of a shower, a lab and a toilet. On the floor you will find three bedrooms. The first consists of a double bed 160X200. The second is a modular bed 180x200 or two twin beds 90x200. Finally the third is dedicated to children with two bunk beds. The children have in their room a big cupboard in which there are games that you will be able to use. Upstairs there is also a bathroom with a large shower and a sink and separate toilet. It is also upstairs that you will find a washing machine and a dryer. The house can accommodate without problem 4 adults and 4 children. In fine weather, you can enjoy the terrace, barbecue and children can play on the swing. The Cassan is a privileged place. You enjoy the calm of the countryside without being totally isolated. You are close to many bike rides. You are 10 minutes drive from the beach Rénac, 10 minutes from the Golf Haute Auvergne.

Merci à Valérie de nous avoir ouvert les portes de sa maison et de nous en avoir fait l'historique. Elle correspond vraiment au descriptif, tout y est, rien ne manque, on se sent à la maison et vraiment un grand bravo pour la rénovation et la déco. Dommage de ne pas avoir fait sa connaissance mais nous avons eu des échanges très conviviaux, et nous serons peut-être amenés à y revenir (avec grand plaisir) car nous avons de la famille dans la région. C'est donc Virginie qui nous a réceptionnés, très chaleureuse et à l'écoute , très bon contact et disponible. Que dire de plus, sinon que nous recommandons cette location, proche du lac et d'Aurillac.
