Everything was absolutely perfect! The room was so beautiful and spotlessly clean and smelled fresh. Allan helped us check in and it was really amazing, he took time to show us the sloth train and even bring a telescope for us to see sloths up in the trees. The food at the restaurant was incredible, don’t miss the cooked to order breakfast that is included in your stay! From check in to check out we felt welcome and special! Will definitely stay again!

It was absolutely perfect! I can’t wait to stay here again the next time I’m in La Fortuna. From the friendly staff and spotless rooms to the surrounding rainforest, everything felt so comfortable and welcoming. We were here for nearly two weeks, which is a bit longer than the average people tend to stay in one place in Costa Rica. We were made to feel right at home. I can't praise the staff highly enough, particularly the restaurant staff. They really go out of their way to get to know you and make you feel welcome. The place itself is pretty close to La Fortuna, but it feels isolated and quiet. There isn't a gym or spa on site, but there's plenty to do anyway. We got one of the rooms with a hot tub, which was great to have after so many long days of hiking. There's also a cool little walking trail on the property that has sloths in it, but we didn't manage to see one during our stay. There's a good restaurant on site, but it takes about 20-30 minutes to walk into town for more options. The road is very dark at night, though, so I'd recommend driving if you have your own car. We did have an issue with our hot water supply towards the end of our stay, but it was dealt with promptly. There was also a fair amount of construction going on, which wasn't a huge problem considering we were gone during most days. Can't hold anything against the hotel. All in all, it was great value for money and a wonderful place to use as a base for our trip. We would definitely consider staying again.
