This is a very relaxing place to stay, and has a restaurant with a beautiful jungle and ocean view. All the food is incredible (and at great prices!), and the people who work there are very nice - just ask for anything you need or want to eat and they will make it happen!

The hotel is very well located at 5 min walk from the beach. The area is nice with a good tree coverage that protect from the afternoon sun. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They arrange the taxi for us for the day we were leaving. The food was very good at the restaurant and we liked the view from the restaurant looking at the see. There is a good breeze in the evening. The room and shower were clean and very spacious. Recommended if you want to visit this area

Very private little huts were great in a beautiful setting. Home cooked meals on sight. Staff happily arranged for our transfer. Lots of very steep roads and walkways with steps in the area if youre walking including at the resort. Resort has scooters for rent. Only a 5 min walk to Haad Yao beach. Food available all along the beach.

A quiet secluded retreat on what can be an otherwise crazy island. The host was wonderful and the main reason we would come back to stay here. We didn't stay much in the actual room but it had the basics we needed and was comfortable.

Quiet hotel on the beach

The rooms were spotless, no bugs, the air conditioning was good and the wifi was good. It's right on the beach so you can go for a walk, and it has some nice places to hang out by the pool with shade. The pool is pretty nice as well. Small hotel with only like 4 or 5 rooms, so it's pretty quiet. The host was very accomodating and helpful. It's an ideal place to stay to relax and enjoy the area.

Great hotel, would recommend to stay here

Lovely place to stay with really friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend hiring a bike from them as it is the easiest way to get around the island. Some lovely beaches and restaurants nearby although the food at the hotel is also very good and well priced. Room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We had a fantastic stay here and would recommend it.

Highly recommend!

We had a great time here, the beach is close by, the room was perfect and the staff were lovely. We hired a scooter from the hotel and it was very cheap and honest (apparently hard to find the honest part in Koh Phangan). Highly recommend Sun Moon Star we would book again. Thank you for a perfect stay.

only spent 3 nights here as they were fully booked for 4 it was the best 3 nights of our entire 3 weeks holiday so peaceful and relaxing superb sunsets from the hotel restaurant the villas were very nice and exceptionally clean the staff were very friendly and full of excellent advice would recommend hiring a scooter from the hotel the food and smoothies are very good would recommend staying at this hotel and resort hope to visit again one day best island we visited paul and michelle england

Clean, New and Well Run by Caring Owners

Stayed for 5 nights over Xmas. The rooms were a very high standard for the price we paid. The breakfast was lovely with a good range of choices. The Hotel is set among tropical trees and on a steep hillside. It's a lovely setting. The real stars were the owners who were very attentive but without being overbearing. We had a ower outage in our room and she called out a technician to fix it. Only took about an hour to fix but in that time we got complementary Fruit shakes and she stretched an extension cable to our room so we could have a fan and charge phones etc. The walk to the beach is no more than 50 yards - but it's a steep one when returning to the room. I would deffinitely stay here again without hesitation!

Amazing stay at a great hotel

We had a wonderful 3 nights at the Sun,Moon, Star Resort. The rooms are spacious and modern. The owners are so helpful with lots of ideas to help you get the best from your stay. The nearby beach has sand like talcum powder and it was so quiet while we were there. We recommend you try the food too - it was fantastic.

Gorgeous room with great wifi. Staff were welcoming and always offered a great service. They were always helpful with our questions about the island and Thailand in general. The food was great, I can't believe the breakfast was free with the room!! We'd been travelling a month before we got here and all other hotels offering the free breakfast were disappointing. This hote does not disappoint on any level! Short walk to the beach which is beautiful and if you do fancy food else where, there are a lot of alternatives down at the beach with lovely views. Full moon party is a 30/40 minute drive away but the hotel can sort out transport. Overall lovely stay, lovely staff and would highly recommend and definitely stay here again

Very friendly and helpful stuff. We got an upgrade with see view for free. Big, comfortable rooms. Each day cleaned. 6 min away from beach. Renting a motorbike directly at the resort possible. The reception supported us also with the taxi and boat transfer. An unforgetable pleasant stay.
