I really enjoyed staying in this property. It was a very comfortable stay. We went with a group of 20 people and this house is planned to so well that kids get to enjoy their space and adults had their own fun time. All 20 can sit together to eat and group fun. Kitchen was very well organized, thought thru design, lots of pans, pots, dishes with high quality material (not the cheap ones), the host is a great person very responsive in communication. Really loved the stay and hope to come back again.

The house is great for big groups! 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers and 2 washer/dryers! Plenty of towels and dishes. The bunk/game room is great for the kids. The beach area and amenities provided by the host were a plus! Especially the paddle boards and kayak, net and pier. The great view out the glass wall facing the river was beautiful. We will definitely stay here again!

I have stayed at a lot of rental lake properties, but this one was by far the best we have ever rented. It is better than advertised!! The house is amazing with plenty of room, upgraded everything and the beach and pack patio is awesome!! Close enough to town to grab what we forgot, but far enough up the river that the boat traffic is minimal. The fishing was great. Best stay ever!!!! We will absolutely be staying here in the future.

Even after the flooding that occurred during the 4th of July, the property was still enjoyable and pretty. It was super easy check in and check out process and host was very responsive on all of questions and concerns.

Quick Family Vacation

Kitchen was well stocked and bedrooms were all nice. Great location on the Llano River side of Lake LBJ. Great evenings and mornings with nice temps and no humidity. Afternoons were a bit hot as expected in Texas in late June, but river was refreshingly cool and nice area to swim in with the kiddos who loved the water. Lots of nice places in the area as well. Thanks for a great stay in a great location and house.

Family Reunion

View was beautiful. Nice rooms set up to accommodate our 10 adults/8 kids/1 infant. Here are some issues: few spoons, kayak had no seat and a hole in the bottom , ping pong table had a ripped net broken balls and bad paddles, broken oar, very splintered decking and stairs/kids got splinters in feet and hands, master bath down had no hot water, uneven floor in dining room-3 adults tripped or fell, some over head lights not working, need better lighting in stairwell.

Annual family vacation

Wonderful property for a large group. We had 15 people, adults and teens. They all had a great time. Each family had a bedroom and the teens stayed in the bunkroom. Plenty of bathrooms. We did miss table tennis on game night. The net was too small and we couldn’t use the table. Did appreciate the paddle boards and kayak. The property managers were very responsive. Check in an out was easy. Highly recommend!

Beautiful views

It may not look like much on the outside compared to the houses in the area but this house had so much to offer. There was plenty of space for all the kids and adults to have our own rooms and space. The kitchen was spacious and stocked with all the amenities we needed to make large meals for the entire family. Access to the beach and river were really nice, the beach was clean and we had a blast using the kayaks and paddle boards that were provided. We used the back patio almost every night for fires and star gazing. The location was really convenient and we were able to rent a boat and jet ski and be back at the house in less than 15 minutes. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay.

Great Place to Get Away

We rented the house for our extended family Christmas gathering. The space was just as pictured online. We loved how large and open the kitchen and living room space was. There was so much seating for dining and lounging. It was just what we needed. We loved the large windows and open views of the lake. A huge plus in the kitchen was having two dishwashers as well as a huge shelf area for storage of food and pantry items. The outdoor space was also wonderful. We had two maintenance issues during our stay and needed to contact the owners. They responded right away and sent someone over to take care of the problem immediately. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again.

Fantastic

We went here for our annual friends trip. Had a wonderful time! The private beach and the lake were perfect. The kitchen was really well-appointed with everything we needed for cooking anything. Lots of gathering spaces that we took advantage of. Some things to note: The bunk room doesn’t have a door and is attached to the main living area. Made it tough for folks sleeping in there to remain asleep once the little kids woke up. The ping pong table wasn’t functional, but it didn’t really impact our stay. Everything else was great!

Disappointing, Misrepresented

House was nice. Pictures of beach totally not accurate Yuccas were dead, grass on beach, many grass stickers, Boat Dock dangerous unuseable submerged broken pipes. No water pressure down stairs, shower upstaris very painful to much water pressure. Had to take baths 5 days. Outdoor furniture old falling apart. Outside shower particularly working. Would not recommend Hill Country Stays.

Nature at the window

It was an excellent experience with so much space and fun. We were 20 people who stayed and enjoyed the winter holiday weekend . I will recommend this place who wants to enjoy the water with a beautiful beach side view. The house was so well kept and have a lot of play ideas for kids at all ages. We all loved our stay. A comfortable place to rest and do a lot of activities with friends and family.

Beach House 1

All of our family had a wonderful time at this location. The view is amazing. The kitchen is well stocked. There is an abundance of seating for eating meals and playing games with each other. The house was very clean. We enjoyed having access to the paddle boards and kayak. The covered dock was wonderful for when you needed a break from the sun. Not every sleeping area has a fan so if you need air moving to sleep it would be best to bring a fan with you. We have already booked the property again for next years family gathering.

Perfect for large family gatherings

The view from the living area sells this place - glass walls looking right out to the water. Beach House 1 was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware, flatware, and utensils. The best part for us was that it was an open floor plan with abundant seating. We could be together all the time. With one bedroom on that main floor, four bedrooms downstairs, and the ultimate young persons room on the split level, it suited our family perfectly.

Beautiful Poperty with great host!

Our large group was extremely comfortable with sleeping arrangements and accommodations. The firepit on the beach was perfect for the cold weather and we enjoyed getting to use the kayaks on site. We'll be back in the futurre!

Great family reunion spot

Great spot for getting families together with plenty to do from infant all the way to adult. The water was warm and calm, and the house was spacious with plenty of room for everyone to interact and have their own privacy too. Highly recommend.
