Hotel can use a refresh. Wood and paint need attention. Main rooms smell musty, likely due to older carpeting. Bathroom had a smell also. Rust colored stain on sheets. Value for money is questionable.

My sister and I stayed from March 27th-31st. There was a hiccup in our stay. Unknown to me, Choice Hotels had changed their policy about room service. We left at 10:30 in the morning and returned at approximately 6:00 pm. The bed was not made, the trash was not emptied, and fresh washrags and towels were not supplied. When I inquired about this, I was told I had to request room service. I felt the lady who texted me was rude in her response. Upon our return on Saturday evening, we noticed a strong odor of pot coming through the bathroom ventilator. I did not report this because I felt, "What's the use?" Nebraska has also legalized medical marijuana, but we did not enjoy the odor. Except for these incidents, we had an enjoyable stay, and the majority of the staff was more than gracious.

Warm Spot in the Cold

Breakfast was subpar, room was clean but showed plenty wear and tear. We got a room right next to pool and elevator, so it was already noisy. The main issue was we stayed during a state high school speech competition of some kind so, whole place was mobbed with tweens and teens. Nice place once you get checked in

Check in was so slow. Like 20 minutes even though it was 10 pm and just us. Once finally in our rooms it was nice! Comfy beds, lots of Channels on tv and a big room. Breakfast was a nice selection and a big room.
