I was a bit disappointed that we weren’t told the hotel Was under construction. No lobby, coffee station and the’free breakfast’ was a take along breakfast. ( a muffin or granola bar etc…. Also the main Entrance was unusable …. Our sink in the bathroom Dripped from the pipes onto the floor. ( maybe after all the construction; these problems would be resolved ed but I do believe we should have been told when we booked this hotel.

Hotel under remodel. Room was cramped, no kleenex, miserable brown bananas and granola bars etc to go on small paper bag for breakfast. Room was clean, quiet, and bed comfortable, recently remodeled. But faucet in sink was incorrectly installed way back on the counter so water spilled all over. Fan for room window A/C was quiet. No towel bars in bathroom that is how cramped it is. Would stay again just for sleeping overnight but not for anything else. Great for younger people I'm sure since it is a comfortable place to sleep but for 80 yr olds we would like a bit more for the price paid.

The hotel is in the midst of a major construction project to remodel the main floor. We had to enter and exit through a side door since the lobby was closed. Check in was at a folding card table propped up in a doorway. Everything was dirty and dusty on the main floor. Breakfast consisted of an Apple, granola bar or muffin to go. No coffee at all. No place to sit, just grab your food and leave. I should have been made aware of this situation before I booked my reservation. I could have gotten a much better experience down the street for the same price. At the bare minimum, they should have waived the extra $20.00 fee for our dog. Very disappointed and will never risk this experience with Microtel again. Plenty of better opportunities the same price.

It’s always a bummer to arrive at a hotel and find that it’s under construction, and the amenities are not existent. Nothing was available and the entire lobby was taped off. Big bummer since it was New Years Eve and we were looking forward to a nice night before we headed downtown and a nice morning. The room was clean, but the mattresses were WAY too soft.

The lobby was a disaster. Had to enter a back door. A ridiculous check in set up. No coffee, no water breakfast was handed out from the makeshift check in room as there was no dining area. The hotel should have closed for renovation. They should also have let guests know before check in and given them the choice of cancelling. Shameful.
