The room was very small but quite clean and had all the bare bones. Definitely inconvenient to bring your own sheets, blankets and towels but that was disclosed in the booking. It had a great view and right on the water.

This is our second year in a row staying here and again it was the most incredibly stay! The cabins are so cute, warm and inviting! We come up to Bobcaygeon to go to a HUGE all day demolition derby event in Lindsay and to be able to come back to the cabin is the best! Thank you again for the most wonderful stay! We are already looking forward to coming again next year and last years stay was an extended stay!

The location was nice but the cottages were dated, the tv and the couch were old and too small! The bathroom was so cramped, almost suffocating! The fire pit and the decks were beautiful. The gazebo was really nice as well. The bbq grills on each cottage were perfect and the porch is where we spent the most time! My brother had visited this place in June and the paddle board was out of order then and even now when we showed up! The game room had nothing working! This is a great spot easily accessible but they have to manage it much better! Have more things/activities/games for people who want to stay inside incase it rains or snows outside! We plan to come back again hopefully they have made some improvements!

I was looking forward to this cottage weekend – the reviews on Expedia were great and based on photos, we were excited. Unfortunately, that feeling was very short-lived. A large part of the group was disappointed with this resort. Here is why: Expedia listing – MISLEADING PHOTOS (DIFFERENT COTTAGE, PHOTOS AND TIER/PRICE?) We rented the ‘superior’ cottage off Expedia.com. When we arrived, we were assigned a different one than the photos and what we had booked. 1) The cottage we rented off Expedia was to accommodate 6 people, a more modern-looking and open concept accommodation. The actual cottage we received not the one we booked. 2) Not only that, it was dark, tiny, and required updating and cleaning. In addition, the small ‘single’ pull-out couch was a terrible sleeping option, leading to our guest having a cramped back at the end of the trip. Looks like the cottage resort has a fictitious ‘Superior’ cottage, where they show good photos pictures from other cottages, and once you land there, they assign another regular one to you. Sneaky! Be careful what you book. I CLEARLY DID NOT book the cottage I received for good reason, and would have looked elsewhere had I known that was the ONLY cottage available. Who’s accountable for the false photos and listing – Bobcaygeon or Expedia???? The cottages at this resort are rustic and need work, cleaning, and updates for basic functionality: Space was tiny, dark, and needed substantial cleaning and repair. Would NOT go back

Loved the full kitchen, bbq, outdoor seating and the beach, including kayaks and canoes. The cBin was perfect for our needs. I was surprised about bringing all my own linens , including blankets. I wish that prt had been communicated more than 2 days before the trip- including the blanket piece, as I didn’t think a blanket was considered linens and had a couple cold nights. With more warning, I could have made arrangements ti have everything

The best part of the stay was watching sunrise. The lake was mysteriously beautiful with fog rising above the water. The worse part was I probably did not read their instructions clearly. There were no bedding, no towels, no hairdryer, no tissues or paper towels in the cabin. I could see the spider webs everywhere. And, there was no firewood provided like they said on their website.
