We enjoyed our stay with our family of 5 over the holidays at Polynesian Shores. It's a nice quiet break from the hustle and bustle of the larger hotel scenes. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and evening hot tub time. But my favorite was listening to the ocean as I fell asleep! There were plenty of kitchen items and beach towels and chairs for us to use. The beds were VERY comfortable. Overall, a great stay!

Going Back

We really enjoyed this quiet resort. Spent 16 nights and it was so relaxing. Every room has a view of the ocean. We loved it so much we are going back in November for even a longer stay and it will probably be our go to place for years to come! Just a nice simple resort!

Maui sunsets

The facilities were nice and the grounds of the property were very nice. A little noisy with being so close to the road. The unit could use some updating but clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed the lanai and the beautiful view.

Perfect vacation

We love staying at Polynesian Shores! It is so peaceful and beautiful. The view cannot be beat! Happy hour down by the water every night, with the beautiful lit tiki torches. Whale watching in the mornings. A short walk to sandy Kahana beach. Short walk to Dollie’s bar and grill. The condo had everything we needed for a perfect week. Mahalo, Bree and staff!

Destination wedding

We enjoyed the condo and the view was fantastic. The only bad part there were two days where two teens were totally oblivious and had no regard for the adults even tho their parents were there. When I said something they just shrugged their shoulders so we left. Otherwise the people were friendly and helpful.

The view was gorgeous from our lanai and the grounds were immaculately kept. It was a very family friendly location and everyone was respectful of the quiet hours. There were shops and restaurants within walking distance, including a farmer’s market. Would definitely stay here again!

We rented a separate condo (115) near to them. It was great! Good views of the water, clean, well-stocked, beautiful, and very comfortable. The management staff is so helpful, attentive and kind. We had a fabulous time!

Coffee filters, filtered water, clean towels and sheets. The crock pot, coffee maker, toaster and pots and pans,ice chest, beach chairs, TV, and room fans made our stay feel like we were at home. It was great to have a washer and drier on site( good to note, bring your own laundry soap and quarters).We would get an airconditioned unit next time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time to Polynesian Shores. We like this better than the crowds in Kaanapali. February is the month to see all the whales right from the lanai. Lots of turtles, too. All of the upgrades to the property were very well done. We like the quiet atmosphere of the property within walking distance to the beach. All the amenities we needed were provide. Short drive to trails, good restaurants, Napili market and coffee, and pickleball courts. Mahalo!

A Pleasant Stay at the Polynesian

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived to a gentle breeze blowing thru the condo, and the T.V. on the Hawaiian a channel. The view at both dusk and dawn was beautiful There was also good water pressure in shower! The condo was quite clean with the exception of the floor. It was gritty, and my bare feet got dirty when walking around. A wet Swifter in the unit would be a great addition(the floor mop in closet could not be assembled)! It was quite spacious, and had all of the basic needs of home with in reach. We also loved the designated parking space right outside our door:) The condo was comfortable, but on the warmer humid days, an AC unit would make it much more comfortable:)

Great week

We had a great time! Bree was super helpful. I text her once at 7am cuz I could t get the door to lock.. she responded right away.. and I just needed to learn how to lock the door.. only 2 negatives.. 1. People kept parking on the red zone right outside the master bedroom window, which made it difficult to get into and out of or parking spot. Plus made it noisy when my toddler was trying to nap. 2. Around 3 o’clock the condo gets blasted by the sun, and there’s no AC. It really needs a sun shade like some of the other units have to block that heat. Evwrything else was great! Everything we needed for the week was there!

Even the pull-out sofa bed was very comfy. Great view. Turtles in the surf out front. Walking distance to S Turns surf break to the north, and Honokawai Beach Park to the south. Pool and hot tub were great. Beautiful grounds with plumeria blossoms all over, birds chirping, rainbows and sunsets.
