Wonderful condo! I love the low-rise, vintage, island vibe. We would happily stay here again in the future. The property is conveniently located and close to ABC store, restaurants, food trucks and grocery and others. The AC in bedrooms was so welcomed. Property grounds are beautiful. Parking was easy. The pool was nice! Overall 10/10. Mahalo!

Wonderful stay

The property was delightful. The condo was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Nice to be staying on a property with only 2 story buildings with fairly extensive grass areas. Pool area had an ice machine which was great for loading up the ice chest for a day at the beach. Easy driving or walking to multiple excellent kid friendly beaches. One of the best cinnamon roll places just down the block: Papi’s Ohana. We had 2 units for our family. Grocery store is close as well: you don’t have to drive to Safeway in Lahaina.

Family vacation

Maui Sands is a great property! Grounds are well maintained with easy access to ocean. Enjoyed sitting behind sea wall listening to ocean and watching whales! We will come back to Maui Sands.

Quiet location. Since all beaches are public, it worked well for us to have a cheaper rental and to drive to a local Beach with easy parking. The snorkeling was amazing!

Great for friends gathering

Pretty grounds with easy access to ocean for swimming. Wonderful little grocery store across the street. Kitchen has everything you need, including a large island for food prep and organizing things. Very spacious living and dining room. There were three of us and we didn’t feel cramped at all. BBQ on property worked great. It rained a lot and we appreciated having a nice place to hang out. The deck is mostly protected from the rain. Incredible deal for the price.

For the most part I enjoyed the condo. The reserved parking spot is far away from the actual unit and the place wasn’t super clean. You can hear the ocean from the bedrooms and lots of fun stuff and beaches nearby.

Maui 2022

We felt completely at home on the property. The kitchen was well equipped and the living room was large and comfy. We had a slow drain initially and Heather responded quickly and had it fixed the next morning. We were able to snorkel right in front of the property and saw fish and turtles Overall we had a fantastic time! We would recommend this property to anyone going to Maui who wants to stay near Lahaina.

Great place

Very happy with our stay. The location was great. There's a small, beautiful beach adjacent to the property for quick swims and sunset watching. Also, it was just a short drive to Napili beach and other great snorkeling spots. Also close to stores and food markets, and the ABC store (which has everything). There is a nightly food truck area just a few blocks away (and walkable) for dinner. The place itself is simple and clean. The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked. And there are good small appliances (toaster, coffee maker, blender). Also, the porch has a well-stocked bin full of beach-going items (boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, noodles for swimming, etc.). The bed in the main bedroom was a little small (looked like Full), so beware of that. The A/C worked well in the living room, but it took a bit of time for the cold air to get to bedrooms. (It was pretty hot when we were there.) Keeping the windows slats open (with the A/C off) is essential to normalizing the temp throughout. Overall - really enjoyed it and recommend.

Loved our time here!

This condo is great for families with young kids. We were comfortable and happy here during our 12 day stay. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of a hotel or resort, but it’s a great value! The other guests and residents were friendly and respectful. We will likely stay here again and will recommend to others who want a quiet cozy experience.

Amazing property with everything you need

This property was outstanding for myself and my parents. It is very spacious, feels very homey with all the essentials for cooking at home, in a quiet complex right next to the ocean. Also very conveniently located to many restaurants, beaches, stores, and places of interest in western Maui. I recommend bringing quarters if you plan to do laundry in the complex’s laundromat. The host is also very responsive. Highly recommend this home!

Great place for a family!

My family stayed here for 10 days and had a great time! Location is perfect. There is a playground and beach close by and a fish market across the street. The condo has everything you need.

Well equipped , but construction was noisy .

Well equipped and good location. Our host responded quickly.Negatives was construction on sea wall was noisy and impaired on the 8view, I understand this will be ongoing until August. Still always enjoy Maui .

Fantastic condo highly recommend

We arrived early and needed a late checkout, even changed our dates once. They were very accommodating. The condo was great, the island was unbelievable. Loved the food trucks down the road and close to amazing beaches. We went in the water right outside the unit as well. There were 6 of us and we were a little short on towels but everything else was there. Sand toys and boogie boards, snorkel gear and water shoes, even shampoo. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great Stay

This condo worked real well for our family. Pretty grounds, friendly neighbors and beautiful sunsets. Especially liked the spacious main area of the home and Lanai with plenty of seating. Never felt cramped.
