Good property for a family visit to Johnson City

The property was well maintained and clean. The back yard was huge and the house was very comfortable. The listing stated that there was a pool for guests to use, however a few days before check in the management company contacted us to let us know the pool would not be available. When booking this property just be aware that the pool might not actually be included. Otherwise it was great and the game room was lots of fun.

Lovely stay.

Beautiful house, quiet, nice neighborhood. Close to local shopping. Straight shot to Fredericksburg with plenty of wineries along the way. Pool is small above ground. The house is very roomy and a large backyard. Only one tv in the living room was disappointing and need to freshen towels. Also everyone in the area was super nice.

Lovely home

We had a fantastic stay! The house is located on a very nice street with well kept, large homes on spacious lots. The neighborhood feels like it’s slightly in the country with a mix of small and large homes and no sidewalks and minimal street lights. We felt very safe and loved that it was under 5 minutes to downtown Johnson City. The house itself was gorgeous, had everything we needed, and had comfortable beds. The game room was a big hit with our toddler! The host was very quick to reply to any questions I had. Highly recommend this spot!

Charming House in beautiful neighborhood

We absolutely loved our stay at Holy Guacamole! The size of the house was just perfect for our girls trip to the beautiful Hill Country. The location was convenient to both Johnson City as well as to the wineries we visited. I would absolutely recommend this place to others and would love to stay again 😃

Wonderfully located house!

Not only was the house beautiful and fully stocked with fun games but we also had lots of visits from the local deer population! The street is so quiet but just around the corner from Main Street which is just as quaint as you’d expect in a small town. We loved our stay and are already planning return trips to Johnson City!

Very Enjoyable Stay

Quiet neighborhood, but close to everything Johnson City. House was nice and well furnished. Only issue was I didn't bring my passwords for Streaming football games on the ROKU TV. Minor compared to the pleasant house and area. Thanks for hosting our great weekend!!!

nice but limited kitchenware.

Home was very nice. I traveled with 5 adults and we chose the eat in after long drive. There was only 1 small pan to cook on and no dinner plates. There were additional cookie sheets and bakeware so we made due. You can cook a meal if you get creative. Bring some spices if you plan to cook, again spice’s limited. Could not find remote for TV, asked owner with no response. Used Roku app on phone. This was fine but no information communicated. There are many homes to rent, would not select again.

Johnson City get away

The house was very clean and as advertised. There was mostly everything we needed. The TV was easy to operate. The pool was a plus. A couple of things I want to mention. Maybe I missed it but the game room was the garage and was not air conditioned, which made it virtually unusable as the temperature was over 100 degrees. Also the ladder into the pool was pretty shakey. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Delightful & comfortable home

Not walking distance to town for older persons. Close to drive to LBJ Historic sites, fun shops & museums, and friendly people. We would recommed it. TV instructions would have been helpful. Thank you very much.

Enjoyable stay

Hill Country visit with friends. Perfect location to stay for visiting the surrounding areas: Dripping Springs, Fredericksburg, Blanco, State Parks, etc. Clean home with everything that was needed, very quiet neighborhood, comfy with plenty of room for relaxing. Excellent communication from property management. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Cute, clean and great location.

Loved the house. It was in a nice quiet neighborhood, but close enough to town and the 290 winery trail that we were able to enjoy all that Johnson City & Fredericksburg has to offer. If I had to give a “con” I’d say some light blocking drapes in the bedrooms would be nice. We Iike to sleep in on our weekend getaways.

Wine Tasting Weekend with Sisters

This is our second stay at Holy Guacamole. Perfect for girls weekend. Close to wineries, nice neighborhood. The house is very clean with ample towels and amenities. Nice decor throughout.
