⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Stay at Erguvan Hotel! Had a fantastic stay at Erguvan Hotel! The location is perfect, just a short walk from all the main sights in Sultanahmet. The hotel itself is very well-priced, clean, and comfortable—great value for money. Big shoutout to Begar at reception—he was amazing! Super helpful, super friendly, and even hooked us up with great deals on attractions and tours. Made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul! 💙

The hotel is superbly positioned for visiting major sites in the Sultanahmed area of the city: the Blue Mosque, Agia Sophia and the Topkapi Palace, for example. The rooms are comfortable, there's plenty of hot water and the staff are friendly and obliging. There is a wonderful view over the bay from the top-floor breakfast room. Overall, our stay was excellent value for money.

Well maintained, but missing some of the amenities listed in the ad - no iron or ironing board, coffee and tea in the room but no way to heat the water. The staff are very respectful and accommodating, so I'm sure if I used I would have received these. Overall 4/5 experience. Just note, the hotel is at the bottom of a hilly area, so some people may have trouble getting down there, especially with luggage.

We sadly experienced a lack of sleep due the conditions of the single beds. They creaked with every turn. We also had no TV.. but told we should appreciate the free WiFi! The tv was not fixed and there was no working phone when in need of a towel of two! We did express our concern but they said it’s “ok”. Umm for who I wonder.

The Staff was amazing. Every morning the manager (Samir) would greet us, ask what our plans were and offer helpful advice. (reminding us the Grande Bazar was closed on Sundays, what time Friday prayers were if we planned to visit the Mosques) He also showed us a very unique display down the street that was no advertised and it was free. Samir and his staff made sure we got taxi's for our departure, confirmed pick up for one of our tours, and offered suggestions to us. Samir was so hospitable that the only thing more he could have done was invited us home for dinner. LOL Thanks Samir an crew and we will absolutely stay again.

I had a delightful stay at the ERGUVAN hotel on November 28, 2024. The hotel's prime location, just a few minutes walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The atmosphere was clean and invigorating, contributing to a pleasant experience. The standout feature of my stay was the exceptional service provided by Salim, the hotel manager. Salim, a native of Istanbul with excellent English skills, was extremely helpful and courteous. When I inquired about travelling from Istanbul to Bursa, Salim conducted thorough research and provided me with precise information. Moreover, he arranged a taxi for me to get to the bus terminal, ensuring a seamless journey. My experience at this hotel was positive, thanks to its great location, clean environment, and outstanding staff. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.

Very very dark, poor lighting. Stayed around 6/7 days and they cleaned once. Had renovation and LOUD construction early in the morning. Elevator only goes up to the 3rd floor. Only good thing was its walking distance from many of the tourist spots and front desk is friendly.
