Top floor beach view

It was a very nice property with a perfect view of the ocean. The screened in porch was perfect for family meals and relaxing. The 2nd outdoor porch on the floor above gave great views of the surrounding area. The pool was perfect for the kids. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice Condo With A View

Wild Dunes is a really great, safe area with lots to do. This condo was nice in that it is oceanfront (literally steps to the beach) and has a pool. The layout is good for a small family. There is a loft on the second floor that has a TV and a twin mattress that doubles as a sofa, and our two kids enjoyed that space. The view from the upper deck is nice, and the sunrises are spectacular from this property--you don't need to leave the porch to view it! The porch on the main level is screened in, and that was great. The beds are comfortable, although the twins in the second bedroom were pretty unstable as far as being able to shift them around on top of the box springs. The kitchen is nice, and had all utensils we needed. If you want any oils/spices, though, you need to bring them or purchase them at the local grocery store, a few miles up the road. The grocery stores we visited didn't have plastic bags, only paper. While this was great for us, just be aware if you prefer plastic or need to reuse them for other things, you may want to being them with you. Also, there is no plasticware available in this property (meaning no washable plastic plates/cups/utensils). While that worked for our family with older kids, that may be something a family with younger children needs to bring. The fridge is full-size, and that was great too. All appliances are in nice shape. There are a few beach chairs and toys for the beach in the second bedroom closet. Bring your own beach towels. The washer/dryer was useful to have in the unit as well. There is a chest in the foyer with lots of games and puzzles too--a nice selection. The keypad is helpful; having that on the front door as opposed to a key is so much more convenient. The complex isn't soundproof; you can hear your neighbors going up and down the stairs, walking around in their units, etc. That was not distracting to us at all, just be aware. There is also an elevator. Overall, we would definitely recommend this property! We hope to visit again should we be in that area; we really enjoyed our stay.

Great but small

Awesome spot. Great pool and beach. Two good sized bedrooms but past four people would be hard. Had all needed except a few things like oven mitts and a broom. One issue is if cooking anything that smokes the alarm goes off quickly. Would stay again

Perfect stay

Large screened in balcony with nice ocean view . Pictures are accurate, pool and beach are right there. Wild Dunes was beautiful and secure. Unit was clean and accommodating with nice decor. Location was perfect for us to take advantage of the pool, beach and historical Charleston (30 min away). We even enjoyed the Pub Trivia game (found in the loft) for family game night.

We loved our stay at Tidewater I-302! The views from the porch and roof-top deck were stunning. The condo was clean, furnishings were modern and the kitchen was well-stocked. You can't beat the accessibility to the beach, pool and Wild Dunes amenities!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The condo was just as pictured. We enjoyed the balcony and ocean view. Having a dishwasher and washer/dryer was very helpful. The kitchen was stocked well with dishes, glasses, bakeware, etc. We would definitely stay again if we have an opportunity to return. When we arrived, the elevator wasn’t working, but it was fixed before we left. The several conversations we had with Island Realty were exceptional. Due to Coronavirus and shutdowns, it was necessary to reschedule. The representatives with Island Realty were excellent to work with.

Great location and condo

I initially booked this reservation one year ago last week which was basically right as COVID-19 hit. I am not certain if the property owners are actually aware of this incident, i would hope they would have given more grace to what occurred. We were forced to postpone our trip given the concern of an epidemic and the unknowns back in early 2020. I was disappointed that neither the property manager, not the actual property owner, would not give some grace in a refund given a pandemic was in the initial stages of unfolding. Basically i was informed by the manager since I didn't purchase the insurance, i either was at a loss or I could push the vacation to a different date. We pushed our date out one entire year and of course, the price of the property on the new dates was higher so we were forced to pay more. However, the property photos were updated during this year and it appeared as if the property itself was upgraded which was a pleasant surprise. The upgrades are beautiful, the décor is impeccable. I really liked the modern look. I will warn you its kind of scary if you have young kids because it is NOT child proof and being in a beach (sand water etc) environment not very conducive to staying clean. I was very concerned about damaging anything. The location is amazing as it is a short walk to the beach and right at the pool area. There are elevators and a ramp as well as luggage carts. The washer and dryer are a plus with wet clothing bathing suits etc. I also really liked that there are "trash closets" on each level which are emptied daily. Each room had a roku. The only suggestion which is super minor is to add more seating on the outside patio loft level like their neighbors. I would def come back 100%.

Nicely furnished condo in a great location - had a wonderful family vacation!

This beachfront, oceanview condo was perfect for our family vacation. We enjoyed hanging out on the screened-in porch and the top lookout. The condo looked like it had been recently renovated. The furnishings are all in great shape, modern and new. It was bigger than it looked in the listing. Plenty large enough for our family of 4. My in-laws came for one night, bringing the total to 6 people and even that was fine with the sleeper sofa for the kids to sleep on. Wild Dunes is a very nice community in Isle of Palms. We were able to bike throughout the Wild Dunes trails and my older daughter and I biked the approx. 9 mile round trip into town to get some Ben & Jerrys ice cream one day. We would definitely stay again. Thanks for renting your home to us!
