Hotel has delicious breakfast selections each morning marvelous team all around, rooms very clean , comfortable and surroundings are well kept . We also like proximity to church , train stations , restaurant Taverne in site serving delicious menus with great presentations . Also appreciate having coffee /tea in the atrium after long walks and felt safe walking around town even at late hours of night after visiting Christmas markets . Always a relaxing stay , staffs welcoming and can’t think of any better place to stay while visiting Bernese OBerland . Thank you team Interlaken , George and Karin, your customer service is second to none .

Couples getaway in Switzerland

The staff is absolutely amazing. Great location, not a far walk from the train station.The room was very quite and clean. I would have rated a full five stars except the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. If they just replace the pillows, an easy fix, that would help immensely.

Our first impressions of the hotel were not positive. When we reached our floor after checking in, we noticed the carpets in the hall were severely worn and stained. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke even though it was non-smoking (it took a day for the smell to subside). We tried to support the hotel by trying to eat dinner at their restaurant but were turned away because we did not have reservations (even though most tables were unoccupied). After walking a block, we ate a lovely meal at a crowded eatery and we did it without reservations. When we returned to the hotel, most tables were still unused, telling us either the dining facilities were understaffed or workers were indifferent. That indifference was on full display when a staffer provided me with a stale gluten free roll at breakfast. We do admit there were some great attributes to this hotel including its location, a competent front desk staff, a great bathroom, and the most comfortable bed in our two weeks of travel in Switzerland. Our suggestion is to treat the hotel and your customers with more respect. Upgrade the interior and restore the great character of the hotel. Until you do, it is hard to justify the prices you charge.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Traveled with my wife and two kids. The room we stayed in was the family room and was very spacious and modern. I highly recommend this hotel for families traveling to Interlaken.
