Great location and lots of space for a large group! Beautiful views and large yard for kids to run around. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms/bathrooms.
Big house with an awesome view! We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the close proximity to town. The host was responsive and accommodating, thank you!
Host is very helpful. easy check-in check-out just enter the code and you are in, lock the door behind yo and you are out . kitchen is very large and have all one might need
Our large family group of 23 (ages 2 to 71) had a wonderful time at the Hunter Chalet. The area is beautiful with lots to do for all ages. We found a lovely swimming hole in a nearby river, took lots of walks, went to several great restaurants for lunch. Our family loves to cook dinner together and enjoyed using the large and well stocked kitchen. The huge deck was full of comfortable furniture to encourage hanging together outside. The fire pit was used to make s’mores. The owner was quick to respond to any need/question we had. There are two huge washers and dryers which made it easy for us to keep up with laundry. The many bathrooms made for no waiting to shower. The lake was fun to canoe and kayak in, but not so great for swimming due to so many plants growing in the lake. We liked that there were not televisions in the bedrooms, which kept the family engaged together. In fact, we rarely used the large wall tv in the great room! The games in the basement kept people occupied on the rainy day and in the evenings. We can’t say enough about the beauty of nature in the area. Note that there is only one refrigerator (plus a small wine frig) and no working ice maker, so there may be several trips to stores for added supplies and bags of ice if you like to cook and like icy cold drinks. Other than that, we loved the space in this home and would definitely return there.
