The location is good, although like many other hotels this sits on a very busy road. Unfortunately because of the hotel design there isn't a single spot you don't hear the traffic 24/7. Judging by the breakfast the hotel primarily caters to the Asian Market, Western breakfast options were limited to mugs of cornflakes or toast. Beyond the hotel the beach is just a short walk away. Sadly the beach was covered in litter. Walk along the road and 90% of the shops nearby are seedy massage parlours.

It was ok but my room was near the main road and the traffic noise was bad I was moved to another room but it still was near the main road the gym facilities were poor and also while I was there during the day work was being done which meant you where disturbed from morning until early evening

The Hotel was in the perfect spot to stay in central Hua Hin- close to the Market Village, a very short walk down a lane to the best part of the beach with all the food, coffee and bars. Easy access for Grabs and drivers. Friendly, pleasant staff. The rooftop pool has a nice atmosphere, quiet and not overstated. The staff are attentive with drink and food orders here. Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. Highly recommend for a simple, immersive stay in Hua Hin.

It is in a good location near shops and lots of massage parlors and a mall. They need a restaurant. The take out menu is really limited. Otherwise it is a really nice place with good pools . The gy needs a lot to be desired if a you are a hard core body builder, but the treadmill was good.

The Kiang Haad turned out to be a great choice for staying in Hua Hin. The property is very nice, the staff is friendly and very prepared, the area provides a lot of options for shopping and dining, and the beach is a brief walk down an quiet side street. The staff is wonderful at this property. There are always two associates at the front desk which is extremely convenient, and the rest of the staff were great.The manager was present during the day and available to help. The property is neat, clean and well maintained throughout. There is a restaurant with a morning buffet, two pools, a rooftop bar/restaurant for lunch and plenty of parking. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. They provide a coffee maker, coffee makings, a fridge, a beach bag with two large beach towels and a pair of flip flops. You can pick up a beach mat in the garage on your way there. The area has plenty of shopping and dining options. There is a mall across the street and another one 15 minutes away on foot. The only caveat for the Kiang Haad is that it’s on the main road which can be noisy. Otherwise, I completely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Acceptable Short Stay

This is a basic 3* hotel that can provide a good value proposition when the room rate is right. I stayed in one of the refreshed rooms where a proper shower enclosure is now in place and where the previous dark wood stain fixtures have been covered with a white surface. It makes the room brighter. Lighting is decent. AC works well, although it seemed to shut off on its on on some days. The biggest improvement is in the WiFi. There is now a decent signal and no requirement to keep signing in everytime the wifi is accessed. The hotel is ok for a short stay if one is out most of the day. The hotel met expectations.
