The pictures of this property do not accurately indicate the condition of the home. We needed a space for family to spend the night, and we also used the space to host a lunch after church service. When we arrived and walked through the house, lighting was poor and the house is quite old and while there have been had some updates, these updates are not great. One of the smoke detectors was in need of a new battery when we arrived - waited for a repair man who sat in his truck for 30 minutes before entering. He then decided that he needed to replace the whole thing and left. After an hour of waiting, we had to leave for dinner but were able to get the detector to stop beeping. Then another detector started beeping in the middle of the night. There was no silverware and the few dishes in the cabinets were dirty; I don't know if the dishwasher works, but it looks likes it is from the 1960's. Lighting in the garage is non-existent. We had to hunt for towels, and while we had hoped to use the back patio for additional seating, the configuration of the home is awkward and the fans on the patio are quite old and in need of repair. If you need 4 bedrooms and a cool place to simply sleep, I guess this will suffice, but I will not be using this home again.
