The breakfast was not edible. The eggs were overcooked, and floating in water. Gravy was broke. No coffee was made. The first room they gave us had peeled paint coming off the walls in the shower that had fallen into the tub. Found several dark hairs on the bed. The front desk guy that night moved us to another room, and was pleasant. The next morning we found two roaches crawling on the end table between the beds. Totally grossed out! The morning girl was rude. We have stayed here a few other times, and had no issues. This ruined us on ever staying here ever again. Went totally down hill.

Bugs, bugs, bugs. Our room had an infestation of roaches and other bugs. We found them on the dresser, in the bathroom behind the sink, along the walls by the front door, on the ceiling, and in the bathtub/shower wall. We informed the front desk staff, but there was general apathy. They stated that they get bugs from time to time and that other guests have complained as well, but it just one of those things they can't control. My wife has childhood trauma from insects and could not get a wink of sleep, and of course, the breakfast buffet in the morning was a hard pass. We will not be staying in La Quinta properties in the future. I was surprised that the front desk was not even apologetic about it or offer to send someone to at least sweep the room for bugs. Minimally I would have thought a discount or something was in order, but that really would not have helped.
