Location was fantastic. Friendly and efficient staff. Bathrooms in access room need more bench space or another mirror available in main room and 2 more towel/ clothes hooks would be great so you could hang you clothes/ robe when trying to shower. Free daily parking not available close by but great option for free overnight or hotel paid parking bays. Food in restaurant was great. Loved the embrace and display of local Tasmanian produce, art and history.

Winter escape

Winter escape in a waterview room. Third time staying at Macq 1 in 4 years & it is still in immaculate condition. Decor has be updated as needed to ensure a 5 star experience. Room had a beautiful view of the wharf, very clean, bathrooms are spacious & extremely clean. Rooms are serviced daily. Room service was delicious & quick. Will continue to stay at Macq 1 when visiting Hobart. Hotel & rooms are all warm and cosy.
