Check in about Midday. Told too early for room availability. I asked to record check-in to reserve a room, and that I wouldn't be returning until about 10PM. Returned and informed no record of earlier contact. The room in total darkness and unable to locate the light switch. Feeling around the room located switches by pure accident on the opposite wall to the entry. Suitcase too light to keep the door open to shed any light. The experience could have been better. The front staff were very helpful and courteous.

Very slow check in and hate it when staff cannot program your cards correctly so you have to go back to reception to do it properly. Very few facilities in room snd we made a coffee first morning in room and milk was not replaced. Rooms were quiet. 10 min walk to Salamanca markets..which was good.

Noisy at night. Glass in windows should have been thicker to drown out traffic noise more when on the lower levels. Fridge in room made clicking and droning noises all night.

Very clean property. We arrived on a hot day, the “welcome” piece of paper advised cold filtered water was in the fridge. No water in fridge. Reception advised they longer provide water!!! 3 teabags for 2 people for 3 days. Can’t even purchase a bottle of water as no vending machine. Breakfast great. Dinner terrible. Neither of us ate it. Staff advised lots of people unhappy not having access to water or a vending machine.
