Our room was much too small. No drawers, no place for the luggage. Had to store it under the desk area making that not usable for a desk. Room was better suited for one person staying just a night or two. On the plus side, great breakfast.

great location and easy to get around. Excellent Italian restaurant across the street. You can buy a return day pass to Miyajima that covers tge train and the ferry to the island. Very cheap and convenient. Room was spotless and nicely appointed. My only criticism is that there is not much space to hang up clothing if staying for several nights. Breakfast is better elsewhere as well.

Very clean and friendly staff!

This was a very good and clean hotel. The hotel provided a lot of freebies and comfy Pjs too! The staff were so friendly and also allowed us to leave our luggage the next day whilst we explored the museum.

Would definitely stay here again.

Had what I needed: openable window for fresh air (although 3rd floor in summer/winter might have noise from aircon units just there; shoulder season it was quiet), not-strong-scented sheets & towels, amazing bath (plus very nice shower), comfy pajamas!, min-fridge & kettle & separate coffee maker, decent space for a japanese room (about 20m^2?), halfway between sights & train station for easy walks to each. I had view of adjacent building, but it was quiet (no road / tram noise). Trouble with check in: the ipad-based system did not recognize the postal code for my (Japanese) apartment and I can't write the address in Kanji and the ipad writing system was very hard to use. Eventually got it sorted out, but clerk was definitely wanting to get done with me, such that I needed to insist on buying my b'fast ticket then, not the next morning (I wanted to be up & eating early). Breakfast started at 6:30 (nice & early) and had a wide selection of options and was pretty nice (comparing to many Japanese hotels I've stayed in -- and **so** far above most American hotels' breakfast!!!), although a bit steep in cost (was more than my okonomiyaki+drink dinner!) so - ate up! and it was worth it. NB that the 'free drink' for Expedia/VIP whatevs was a coffee from a coffee shop 6 blocks away that wasn't even open. I was hoping for, say, a small sake or mini-prosecco or something.
