Location was perfect we had a room with big balcony in the front with direct view of the sea. Cleaning was perfunctory, just emptied toilet bins and wastepaper bin in room.did not sweep or mop the balcony for the whole time we were there which was 2 weeks. Mop must have been old as there were always long dark hairs left on toilet floor and shower tray and also In room. We are both white haired I might add. Towels were hard and ragged. Place needs updating

Very nice little hotel.

Very nice little hotel with a wonderful view of the sea. The room was a good size with small bathroom (very tiny shower) and a balcony. Nothing fancy, but simple, clean and functional. I was there for almost a week and they cleaned the room every day except one. The owner, Kostas and the staff, were very friendly, nice and helpful. You could opt for air-conditioning, continental breakfast and use of the safe for an extra cost, if needed and there was a lot of flexibility around all of those. The location of the hotel was great also....short walk to the beach, restaurants, shops and the bus stop, if you wanted a cheaper and on-your-own-time option for visiting neighboring villages and town. Overall great place to stay and enjoy the island of Crete. Efharisto!

Ambiente mit traditionellem Flair und Meerblick

Das Hotel ist etwas außerhalb des "Rummels" und dennoch wenige hundert Meter vom Strand gelegen, daher angenehm ruhig. Es gab ein recht kleines Badezimmer, aber einen Balkon in Nord-Ost-Richtung mit Morgensonne und Mittagschatten, wo wir viele Stunden verbracht haben, besonders abends. Das haben wir sehr genossen. Leider ist es überhaupt nicht barrierefrei wegen der Hanglage des Grundstücks: Stufen gibt es von der Straße zum Haus und weiter zum hinteren Garten und zum Parkplatz, natürlich auch im Gebäude selbst (Altbau). Das Ambiente ist stilvoll "altmodisch", sehr angenehm! Der Eigentümer ist ein außerordentlich freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Mensch mit Sprachkenntnissen in Deutsch und Englisch. Wir haben dort auch Tips für Ausflüge bekommen. Das Hotel hat einen eigenen Parkplatz und einen Pool mit Liegen in der Sonne und im Schatten, außerdem Sitzplätze im Garten. Das Frühstück ist sehr preisgünstig, auch ausreichend, aber wenig abwechslungsreich. Leider war das Restaurant noch geschlossen (Vorsaison), aber wir fanden genügend Gelegenheiten in der Nähe. Wir haben uns willkommen und wohl gefühlt.

Das Hotel besticht durch seine optimale Lage direkt am Strand und in der Nähe von Städten, aber trotzdem schön ruhig und durch seine netten Gastgeber, die das Hotel mit viel Liebe zum Detail leiten.

Na ja, etwas mehr Mühe würde Wunder bewirken....

Das Frühstück ist der absolute Schwachpunkt dieses Hauses. Trotz der 4 EUR Extrakosten ist das Frühstück keine 2 eur wert. Sorry Kostas, aber du solltest nicht immer das gleiche servieren. Mal eine andere Wurst oder Käse wäre schon hilfreich. Statt Margarine auch mal Butter anbieten wäre sehr nett. Statt billigem Kafee-Ersatz mal echten Kaffee anbieten wäre toll.
