This is a hidden gem. Older hotel but clean and the necessary modern requirements. Super friendly staff, great breakfast. Not far from the main highway. We will definitely keep this on our favorites list.

We loved how the hotel was able to accommodate my family’s Thanksgiving dinner by allowing us to rent the dining room. The staff was super sweet and we even invited Tia to have dinner with us!!

Wonderful place to stay!! Very clean, love the decor. It may be an older property, but the mgmt has worked very hard to provide a very nice Hotel. Staff is wonderful, the cleanest linens/towels ever! The free breakfast was great.

The check-in process was seamless and quick, the room was immaculately clean, and everyone I encountered was friendly and kind. Best of all, the continental breakfast the next morning was amazing. Homemade biscuits and gravy, delicious cinnamon buns, and a nice selection of yogurt and drinks, good coffee too. I was only passing through, but I’ll be sad if I never return to the Lodge at Russell – might make a special trip just for the pleasure

Old style motel, they even use the old physical key. Room was clean, nice bed and more quieter than i thought it would be. The 2 lady night clerks were friendly and informative. Only negative for the room was the light that came in from around the curtains. Other than that it's an old room. That has been mostly updated. Breakfast was better than most other nicer hotels. Price was decent, got a good sleep with a good breakfast. It's just know it's not luxury hotel and you will be ok. We would stay there again.
