Nice location. Friendly, efficient front desk and maintenance staff. Large rooms with Keurig coffee makers appreciated. Carpets and in-room furniture need updating; wood furniture should be replaced or refinished. Biggest complaint is breakfast service. Front desk personnel and signage indicate that breakfast service last until 10. Early morning selections are good and plentiful. However, unless you arrive by 9, many items are gone or need refreshing. This occurred on both mornings of our stay. The 1st morning both juice and fruit bowl were empty and staff was not to be found until 9:50 when they appeared to clean-up. The 2nd morning we arrived at 9:15 and staff was available but indicated that all fruit was gone for the day. Overall, the hotel is convenient with an excellent staff (except breakfast). We would consider it again for a short stay

The hotel charge us extra bec they thought we had a pet . The lady in the front desk when I called tonight sat at 7:00 was rude . I asked her name and she hanged on me . I called again and asked her she hanged up the phone again . So terrible customer service . The hotel itself is good but the customer service was bad . I never a bad customer service before . I just want to know her name , not sure why she need to hung up

It was quiet, clean and had no issues. Good location out of town. We traveled with a pet and felt that the charge was a bit high ($90) but they did include a ball and some disposal bags as gifts. 😊

Although a slightly older hotel, Half Moon Bay Lodge is impeccably clean. The staff are attentive and kind, and we love that some of the rooms have fireplaces. Some of the rooms overlook the golf coarse at the Ritz, so it is quiet and serene. We look forward to returning!
