Very comfotable room - the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room for luggage. The common area was nicely decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed. The lanai view was great!

This was a very nice property, met all expectations. Very clean throughout, even the group kitchen and refrigerator. Host lives on property so is very easy to get in touch with and I think has a big influence on why this property is so nice. Quiet, comfortable, excellent location if you want to access the National Park, Kahului, or Hana. We would stay there again.

It might be a little hard to find in the dark but it is quiet. Oh, so quiet. So very quiet. The breeze was sufficient but there is a window A/C to remove the humidity if you're so inclined. Copious hot water. Private patio. Common living spaces for lounging, cooking, and dining. It felt very safe. It was certainly very clean. There were plenty of utensils and breakfast basics plus ice and filtered water. Restaurants are near "ish" and Paia is a great little town. There is a State Park beach about 8-10 minutes away. Did I mention how peaceful this place was?

House was absolutely phenomenal! We got to meet one of the hosts, so glad I got to meet her, learn about the island in the property a little bit. I highly recommend anyone looking to feel at home, experience, something beautiful, and if you’re looking for a place close to the start of the Road to Hana this is your most ideal spot! From fresh bananas and eggs to the flowers that are placed out on the counter. Feeling the fresh breeze as you stepped into this beautiful home, you’ll be transported into Maui. Make sure to take your shoes off, respect the land and those around you, and breathe. Take in the sounds and wonder as you eat breakfast or possibly meet new friends in a shared living space. We had others in the house with us at the time, only briefly heard them from time to time when we were in the common area other than that, it was purely quiet. Oh to come back someday! The rooms were spacious and beautifully set up too!

Beautiful and well maintained grounds. My first floor room was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable, and the relaxing rocking chairs on the lanai were a bonus. Loved being able to have use of a full kitchen for breakfast and meeting the other guests. The view from the second floor, which includes the kitchen, dining and living room areas, as well as another lanai, was outstanding.

Haiku Heaven

Absolutely loved this property. Would give 5,000 stars if it let me. So clean. So beautiful. So serene. We liked being a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists, this truly was a slice of heaven. Great location for the Road to Hana, Kaanapali Beach, Haleakala. Close to Makawao where we went to a Paniolo Rodeo! Check in and Check out were an absolute breeze. I will bookmark and save this Property so I can come back for my 50th!

Great location for Road to Hana

Property was clean, nicely set up, beautiful setting and views. Our room,1, was spacious with comfortable bed, loveseat and bistro table. The common space, kitchen, living, dining was large and and comfortable. Light breakfast items were good-yogurt, bagels, waffles, eggs, tea, coffee and fruit. It was in an excellent location to get an early start in the Road to Hana, without having to get up too early. I would highly recommend staying here! tea

Quick start for road to Hana

We liked absolutely everything about this place. Could have easily moved in. Extremely relaxing and comfortable. Very nicely decorated. Quiet neightborhood. Wonderful DIY breakfast provided the next morning. Wish we could have stayed longer. Our friends stayed there a week later and felt the same.

Lovely hosts and generous breakfast fare, fresh eggs straight from their chickens. The Jacuzzi tub was a nice surprise. Quiet and serene home away from home. Highly recommended especially if headed to Hana.
