WILDES INNS
"I stayed here on a weeknight for a wedding reception, very easy to find within 2 miles of the M1 motorway and plenty of parking. I originally booked a single room but checked a few days before and a double was cheaper so I managed to ‘upgrade’ and save some money! Check in was easy and the room was well appointed with fast WiFi, tea/coffee/mineral water and a walk-in shower with toiletries. Be aware though there was no shelf for toiletries so these needed to be placed on the floor whilst showering. Good selection of alcohol on tap, be aware of course of ‘hotel prices’; despite being close to the main road my sleep was not interrupted by traffic noise. Breakfast was included and was buffet-style but unfortunately the breakfast is the reason I am unable to give 5-stars for the review. Only 1 x small cup of tea was offered (no refill) and the juices ran out part way through breakfast meaning they weren’t easily available without asking a member of staff."
