My stay at Southwest Motel was fantastic! The room was clean and the couple managing the property (who checked me in) are super nice, kind, and helpful. It was an added bonus staying in a classic, retro, iconic Historic Route 66 motel! I would definitely recommend staying here.

It is an old route 66 motel that is in the monumental task of renovations. The staff was friendly, the room very clean. It still has the old charm.

A really nice hotel room along route 66. Friendly staff and a quaint dog friendly stay next to the national park. We really enjoyed this place and would gladly stay if we make a return trip to El malpais.
