Other remarks
The accommodations are located close to 3 rich cities to discover. Besançon is a 1-hour drive away, with its old town, its ramparts, its citadel and its zoo and its many museums. Langres is 45 minutes away. A visit to the fortified city is sure to seduce you. Finally, Dijon is 1 hour 15 minutes away. Discover its historic center, the Dukes' Palace, and enjoy its many exhibitions. Not to mention all the small local heritage nearby: the castle of Rupt sur Saône and its 12th century keep, its 18th century Italian-style farm, its orangery, its hunting lodge, the castle of Bougey and its astonishing façade, the castle of La Rochelle rebuilt on the basis of the old fortified castle, and the castle of Ray sur Saône and its magnificent park. Also to be discovered are all our local craftsmen, passionate and not stingy with explanations: Beer in Lavigney; Honey and wooden toys and its museum in Chauvirey; vegetables, goat cheese and cheese dairy; basketry in Fayl Billot which is the capital (of basketry); the baker who bakes his bread over a wood fire in the summer, and many others. Bike rides, mushroom rides, fishing in the pond, rivers depending on the season, canal rides in barges, speleological sites and not forgetting our typical restaurants of the region. With this you are sure to have a great time in our beautiful region and I will be there to inform you.
See you soon. Angela
