Motel 6 Enfield, CT - Hartford
"Clean room, nice size refrigerator"

Hilton Garden Inn Hartford South/Glastonbury
"Nick gave great suggestions for dining off premises when we inquired. Studio was spacious and clean as per photo, but bathroom in room 317 is unfinished (empty doorless closet?) and toilet was very low. Also the position of safety bar on shower wall makes the average person feel crowded when facing the shower head. Although three appliances are provided (coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator) the outlet allows only two plugs. We were right next to the elevator, but didn't hear any noise. It may be that rooms with these issues are assigned to people who book via Expedia. Lobby was well maintained and renovations are complete. Decor is standard, out of the box, and is a bit dark. Touches of aqua or turquoise or seafoam would brighten the space. The mulch on islands in parking lot is piled high which causes a curve around the outer edges and uneven surface. My husband was careful upon approaching driver door of our car but lost footing and twisted lower left leg on Wednesday evening. He reported this unfortunate incident. The pain was excruciating. This is a safety concern."
