ok but aircon did not work

The hotel was reasonable - although a little dated for the price. The fact there was a pool made it worth it. The staff were friendlt too. My only complaint was that the aircon was broken - a fan and a supposed portable air-con unit was provided but these did nothing but recirculate the hot, stuffy air. The windows didnt open so the entire room felt suffocated and made it difficult to sleep. I think for the price, the room needs to come with aircon, espcecially ina 4 star rated hotel.

Loved it, everything was perfect! Swimming pool was lovely, staff so friendly, Glasgow is a great city centre, far more interesting than I was expecting and buzzing with people, about 5 minutes walk away. Our room was huge, perfect for a family of three with plenty of space for kid to play. Breakfast was lovely. Exceptional value for money, really couldn't have asked for any more! Thank you, we will definitely be back, and we want room 611 again please!!!

Fantastic!

Courteous and helpful staff, and a nice large and clean room. We particularly enjoyed the pool which was clean and spacious.

The only thing I didn't like was that the bath water had a brownish tint to it and when drained left a brown residue on the bath. The suite had a kitchen facility that didn't work( sink) and the drain smelt of rotten eggs

Good location and value

Good location for SEC and the centre. Shame the pool doesn't open to 4pm, so no morning swim. Near the motorway/Kingston Bridge, but we didn't hear much noise.

in the main a great place to stay, just one thing the hotel does not cope when it is hot. my room had a fan that was totally useless and when asked if there was a replacement i was advised no. you cannot open the window it was like a furnace 24/7 I stayed for two nights and under those conditions wouldn't do that again.

Pleasantly surprised

Fantastic stay, best breakfast we have had anywhere and super friendly and helpful staff. This hotel was our second choice ( other one was fully booked) but we are so pleased we came here. Thanks to all the staff who made our stay so welcoming.

We found the room stifling hot and the air condition was not working very well. The staff were attentive and the meals were good but nothing matters that much when you can't get a good night's sleep
