Renovated Cabin on Big Manistique Lake, Access to Trails Nearby!

Situated on a quiet road on Big Manistique Lake, this 3-bedroom and 1.5-bath cabin has recently been renovated to keep the cute charm of “cabin life” but with modern finishes. You are welcomed into the living room/kitchen with vaulted ceilings, large log beams, and reclaimed hickory wood flooring. After a long day on the lake or the snowmobile/ATV trails, kick back in one of five lazy boy recliners or pony up to the 4-foot by 6-foot kitchen island with reclaimed barn beams – providing bar stools all the way around it. The main area of the cabin is perfect for having drinks, playing cards, catching views of the lake, and creating great memories! The main level also offers two bedrooms, each with one queen bed and one full bathroom with in-floor heating - cozy during those fall and winter nights. Take the stairs to the loft overlooking the living area below. Games and puzzles can be found here! The upstairs bedroom has two queen beds and a half bathroom for complete privacy.

Just Amazing

Location is perfect! Right in the middle, an hour away from the major attractions in the UP. Cabin is so cozy. Property management were easy to communicate with and check in was simple. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit the UP. Enjoyed my stay.

Winter Paradise

Great property in a great location. We had a group of 6 of us that have been coming up to the UP for 10 years snowmobiling and are always looking for a nice place. This definitely qualifies. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. Nicely remodeled, great views, easy lake access. Plenty of parking area. Would recommend, and will try to stay here again!

Relaxing and peaceful

The house was very clean. My kids loved the loft as their special place to sleep. Board games were available which we enjoyed playing. The kids were able to swim in the shallow lake edge right at the house. They were able to play in the yard with lots of space. The house is newly remodeled with a fresh classic look, but still a rustic cabin feel. We would stay here again!

This property was even better than expected! The cabin was bigger than expected and they now have a dock, which was a pleasant surprise. The downstairs bedrooms were a little tight and there was no room for a dresser, but the beds were super comfy. The main bathroom has heated floors, which was AWESOME. The upstairs bathroom door is a sliding barn door with no latch so the door stays open about an inch, but otherwise also really nice and spacious. The property does have soft water which makes showering a bit slippery but otherwise, everything about this property exceeded my expectations! They even provided cushy outdoor chairs for enjoying the fire. Will absolutely return!

The property is clean, modern, and full of kitchen supplies. The bathroom was our favorite, it's very modern and updated. The large island was perfect for playing family games in the evening. The beds were comfy and clean. Check-out at 10 seemed a bit early for us, especially having to load up snowmobiles. The lake was frozen and was easy for us to hit the trail on the other side of the lake to Seney. If the lake isn't frozen, you have to take the road 3 miles to hit the trail, which was super rough. Overall this is a perfect place and we plan to be back!

It was ok,ceiling fan didn't work, I think it needs new batteries, patio door would not close once you got it open, neighbors dog did his duty in the yard and I had to pick up, $400 for cleaning is way to much since the list that I had to do,cleaning didn't have to much work left . TV was very spotted, no instructions on how to operate anything, except what we could and Not to do.

First Extended Family vacation

The stairs to the upper bedroom and half bath are a bit treacherous. My 30 yo son slid down them coming down the first time because of narrow treads. I guess this is common with older log homes. Slider sticking and someone very strong had to open and close it each time. Opened about 18-20”. Cabin was hot in the evening. Could use screen door on front door to help. AC upstairs was necessary and appreciated. Renovations were beautiful, the view was amazing. Very nice dock and shallow water to play in. This was our first family vacation and the large island in the kitchen worked great for our family. Love the counter tops!!
