There were dog hairs on furniture, floor was dirty in bathroom. Tub and sink was very clean bed slept good, furniture needs to be replaced very badly, not at all what you would except from a Hilton. I have stayed in motel 6 and had nicer decor. Your staff was excellent!

Workers are sweet as could be! Rooms was nice and kids was able to be private from the adults. Two tvs, a fridge. And microwave is in the hall which kinda sucked but good that we had one close by and ice machine, it was festive for the holidays, amazing drinks. Beautiful outside sitting and an amaing pool with a hot tub to watch the kids. 10/10 recommed! And trolley comes to the hotel as well.

If I could rate the hotel on view alone, it would be 5/5. Even with a partial view, the view was great. The hotel is dated for a Double Tree and I was expecting a little more from them. There was no water offered - you had to pay for bottled water in the lobby. The vending machines were inoperable on the floor of our room. The shower is obnoxious and vibrates the whole floor from the wall. I don't know if it was just the pipes or because they have a vent running directly behind it. The staff were friendly and helpful and the beds/pillows were very comfortable. The elevators are slow because of how many floors there are but there are 5 thankfully. Be aware that the wind does tend to whistle through all of the balconies and holes so if you are a light sleeper, bring something to help you sleep. The location, while great for the view, makes you reliant on the trolley which would be fine if the trolley wasn't going to be packed. Being the winter, the trolley also only starts at 10:30am which means that everyone gets on at that time. The steep driveway in means that you either have to take the trolley or drive to the main strip which means you have to wait for a trolley that's not full or drove and pay another $20 to park somewhere in town on top of your daily hotel parking fee of $18. You also have to pay for breakfast which is $22pp at the hotel and you'll need the trolley earlier than 10:30a for breakfast on the strip. Also, be prepared to park far from the entrance.

Our #1 choice when we go to Gatlinburg. Everyone is always friendly and the room is always clean. It’s close to Gatlinburg but far enough away that it’s quiet and the trolley stops right at the front door.

The staff was great very helpful and friendly. The food was good the Quesadillas had good fresh vegetables on them and good portions. The blaken Mahi mahi was cooked perfect and good flavor. Bar tender made a very good old fashion and was in point with food and drinks.

Great stay. Very clean. Older place that has been remodeled needs updating mattress for sure. Parking can be iffy during certain times, wasn’t aware they charge $18 a night to park to me is crazy. Very nice staff. Hot tub and indoor pool was nice. Elevators have a wait during high traffic but it’s just be aware.

Was expecting more since Doubletree is higher end. Not much of TV-no internet channels, yet they had it downstairs in lobby. Room was not stocked for 2 people staying 3 nights. Had to ask for coffee. No free water or coffee decanters in lobby. Even Hampton Inn has that. Why charge for parking???
