This place was horrible, the door handles falling on that goes outside so we weren’t able to sleep in peace. The ceiling were linking and brown making the whole downstairs smell. The home overall was dirty. I had to go get cleaning supplies to clean everything prior to us being able to settle in. The dishwasher had standing old stinky water in it. So we were unable to use. It smelled so bad when you opened it made you want to vomit

Last Option Stay...Pictures Do Not Reflect the True Aesthetic
As a travel professional, I wouldn't suggest this property. It is an older property and across the street from some apartments on Ave. L & has not been remodeled or updated on the outside. Still looks run down & the grass wasn't cut.The inside still has older wood boards on the wall. I know the owners may be trying to keep the historic look but the panel boards could have been updated. The bathrooms have been refreshed and has new shower/tubs. The bathrooms were actually nice. The kitchen appliances has been updated and are nice. The common area furniture isn't the best and some are old and not stable. The house is separated into to sections. The bottom section isn't connected to the second & third floors. I planned the stay for 15 people but only 8 showed up. There were enough beds but would have run into sleeping arrangement issue if everyone would have come. If you are trying to have everyone in one place, you won't be able to unless everyone comes upstairs or down stairs. The five year old with us complained about staying at this house. He was scared and said it looked like a haunted house. There were also large roaches that came out at night, spider webs on the ceiling, and dust on the walls. The house isn't well insulated or insulated at all because in some areas you can see daylight. We only stayed one night & made it work but considered checking into a hotel. Didn't get many pictures as I thought.

Disliked: Cleanliness
The home was unacceptably dusty, and the neighborhood felt unsafe. Key lock boxes were empty, requiring significant effort to locate entry keys. Additionally, the main shower continuously ran, and despite contacting property management, their handyman was unable to fix it, promising a delayed follow-up repair. The "repair person" never showed up.

Would not recommend
The pictures on the listing are old. There were some things not cleaned and the house is in a very sketchy neighborhood. We did not feel safe when we arrived so we did not even stay here. We went to a hotel.

Black Mold, dirty, run down place- do NOT STAY
The mold smell was so bad some of us started getting sick within 10 minutes. We took pictures of the mold and general decay of the house and are still fighting VRBO for our money back. Lights weren’t working, blinds were broken and falling off, the walls were falling apart, and you had to climb a rickety staircase outside to get from one floor to the next. We could not stay there because the mold was so strong and we had to stay somewhere else last minute. The pictures are 20 years old and are not accurate.
