Nice hotel close to promenade and beach. Good range of food at breakfast and dinner. Large shower, plenty of toiletries and the water, tea coffee pods replaced each day.Unfortunately although a high floor was requested at time of booking our deluxe room was only on the 6th floor and was in shade by lunchtime.

Up until the 1st floor I would say the hotel is a 4 star. But having a look at the swimming pool that was yellow and the smell of chlorine intense. Then looking at the bathroom with brown stains in the shower tray and around the shower area, even the finishings of the toilet weren't done properly. The shower head was blocked and water was going everywhere else but to where it should go. The small shower head holder was loose but we manage not to break it even more. Then the food at the dinner, if you really enjoy tasty food like I do, you won't like it at all. I was expecting a lot more traditional tasty food. If there is a next time, I will definitely pay just for breakfast and have the other meals elsewhere. I would classify this hotel as a 3 star. Positives: The location is great, breakfast was fine, the walls between the rooms were thick and staff was friendly.

I had an excellent stay at the Leonardo hotel. It was worth paying for a seaview and the location was very central.The staff were very helpful. Unfortunately I didn't realise that my bedroom door didn't automatically lock and the cleaner opened my door without knocking, when I had just got out of the shower. However this didn't spoil my holiday the mainly positive experience of staying at the Leonardo. I managed to see the funny side of my situation.

We had a wonderful time as a family at this hotel . Staff were very friendly from check in until leaving. Breakfast is one of the best I have ever had . Lovely surroundings and lots of choice . The pool area was very nice and we always managed to get a bed . If I were to give one negative it would be to say they should clean round the edge of the pool as it is green , a, sure it would be easy to do and would make a big difference. We loved the location of the hotel with our room overlooking the marina and an abundance of bars , restaurants and shops as soon as you walk out . Would definitely recommend .
